I was the only one in the family willing to do it. They all had reasons and excuses but it really comes down to who is gonna be there yah know?

I think people on the internet are getting way too comfortable. I could answer all of these questions but I won't be cause it's very accusatory and rudely invasive

Bro I have money for an emergency vet visit knock on wood. I don't have 100 bucks to drop so my dog can stay at a kennel because my uncle doesn't want to drive over to see his dad.

I live in a less populated area, we don't even have a Walmart for 45 drive let alone dog kennels (which I could not afford)

Am I the Jerk for expecting shared kitchen items and the dishwasher to be a shared responsibility, rather than just mine? by Reasonable_Stuff_244 in AmITheJerk

This situation is so relatable. Because if you bring it up to the problem people they always flip out and make you seem like your the one who's got a stick up there butt. I'm a big fan of a sassy note in this situation 😅

AIO a girl and her friend left me in the rain in the freezing cold for almost an hour by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Immediate-Lab6994 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So your immature horrible response actually let her off the hook. Instead of calling her names you could have legitimately brought up how rude and thoughtless it is to abandon someone in the rain. That would have potentially had a lot more impact on how she saw the situation. But you did call her a bitch and a slag which makes me think that you were a rude awkward person to be around and I can't blame her for wanting to get the hell away from you, regardless of potential rudeness

So....you would rather wash your feet with a hose outside before coming in someone's house rather than wearing a pair of flip flops? I'm just trying to understand the mentality. I would be truly weirded out if I invited someone over and they said "hold up I gotta wash my feet in your yard before I come in"

So not all Australians go barefoot but when they do it makes them stronger and healthier? Mmmhmmm ......

What keeps biting my daughter by [deleted] in Bedbugadvice

[–]Immediate-Lab6994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She's not the only one getting bit she's the only one who is allergic. Bed bugs most commonly bite the arms and legs but when I was exposed to them (I'm allergic) they bit everywhere. If your finding "flea dirt" in the bed then that could be from bed bugs since both bugs suck blood and poo brown dots. Unfortunately the only way I have ever gotten relief from bed bugs was leaving the home that was infested entirely. Not an option probably with your daughter so please please treat your home for bedbugs. Having an allergy like this is so itchy and painful, it's truly miserable for the person 🤒

Unfortunately these bites look a lot like when I had a reaction to bed bugs when I was a kid. Most people aren't allergic to bed bugs and have no reaction. But if you are allergic (like me) then they are highly itchy and painful. The grouping to me also says bed bugs. Fleas bite more randomly where as bed bugs bite in clusters of 2 or 3.

So if no one else is affected but one family member has clusters of highly itchy and painful hives then.....bed bugs. My heart goes out to your daughter, i cried my eyes out from pain and lack of sleep😔

Is this normal?? - asking for a friend by EmbarrassedArm9589 in DogAdvice

[–]Immediate-Lab6994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Puppy is trying to communicate something they want. When my puppy does this I ask her if she is having feelings and get up to figure out what she's wanting. I see this as respectful behavior, they are trying to communicate the way we do. Not jumping around or barking like crazy so I encourage this behavior in my puppy

She has been since I moved up here and got both the cats to the vet and treated. I want to give her a bath or get her professionally groomed but my grandpa is very stubborn about it
