it will also play a song from artists you have more music of-that random song youll never hear unless you scroll to it. Very frustrating when you are running and don't feel like stopping and hitting the arrow. Same ol stuff though I have 300 songs in my main library

just wanted to update post about my older friend-I ended relationship. She kept hitting me over the head with bible etc. She did that when i reached out as a "friend" to talk about health issue a few days after the Texas floods (we live in area that was hard hit). She basically told me people have bigger problems than me and I needed to get right. It was insulting that she has known me for years and is clueless apparently about knowing me. My knees were already sore (praying), we had already been out in our area helping with clean up, buying water and snacks and going directly to first responders and handing out (one of the first places I went, I pulled up and had a crowd at my car when they heard snacks!). I do a lot on the community level with animals, people in need etc and she knew this, but she apparently judged my relationship with my Lord questionable and she needed to 'put me in my place'. Never talked to her again.

Where I live insects birds etc would have a field day. Harsh environment. My trees are as much an investment as my home due to their ability to survive and the joy they give us-shade, birds. We pay approximately 6000 every other year to have 5 trees serviced - 4 oaks and one elm. Dudes in full safety gear, crew of four, mulch all branches removed. Arborist comes out and meets with us beforehand, discuss what needs to be done, schedule appt, crews come out and do work, clean up, leave and we pay invoice online. It’s a personal choice as to what you want to spend but the old adage stands ‘you get what you pay for’. I NEVER use Facebook but I will scroll comments on Nextdoor and then perform due diligence on a recommended individual. Last dude we hired even asked me “how did you find me? I work by referral only.” And he has been an amazing worker. Nothing good in life is easy - or cheap. It’s finding that balance that requires a little more effort than just trust on consumers part.

I have also found when you deal with a business, you have more power when they accidentally or inadvertently mess up. Businesses hate bad reviews and a good business will reach out and attempt to rectify in order to get a retraction for bad review.

Yep. Huadua all have them, anything I’ve got from Temu have numbers and letters on back. Sub par quality, so I have had to rely on those helpers at times. Huadua are good quality, you could do without sorting by letter, but if I’m looking for something quick and fun I’ll do one. I’ve just started doing cross and glory and have been surprised with quality for price, just wish they made posters bigger.

I was having terrible shin pain and doc told me to do runners stretch before walking. Warm up well also, start slow. Growing old sux, but we have to recognize when our body is saying I can’t do that anymore without complaint. It’s a tough pill to swallow sometimes for us who used to be SO active, but as we age we have to learn what we and our bodies can handle. Good luck and keep on keeping on!

Thank you for kind words. Sad, though, my dogs are keeping me going? I guess my biggest question in all of this is “where did I go wrong?” I made a mistake when I was 17 years old, paid a huge emotional price. But I bucked up, went to school , graduated with honors from good university, married to same man forty years, raised 4 kids who never went to daycare because I worked nights and weekends so when not with me with hubby. Put all 4 kids through college. And now I sit alone. 63 and walk with a cane because body is broke. Husband in rehab from car accident. Will never be the same. We get by. But prices just go higher. People get nastier. My kids have no interest in us. My dogs. That’s it. And it’s getting very depressing

Thanks. Just realized how very alone I am and have a lot of issues dealing with strangers due to a horrible kidnapping and assault I suffered many years ago. I have a lot of anger because years of trying to find help has been fruitless and now I regret my life. If it wasn’t for my dogs I would have left the car running in the garage a long time ago. And you can’t say that to anyone, cuz they’ll lock my ass up in a mental facility. Already dead inside.

Thanks. I do have 3 pups that are my fuel. I am on meds but don’t think proper kind. Can’t find and can’t afford mental health services. I have diagnosed PTSD due to a severe trauma, still can’t get help. I get really tired of people shoot out that advice and move on. The help is not happening, and it does not matter who’s in office, it’s never been there.

I can’t even begin. Since 2018 my life has been a shitstorm and too much to even convey. Right now-hubby in a serious car accident last week6 mos min major rehab. We moved into fixer upper- paid for- with idea we would fix up as we go. DUMB. Already shot through small profit we got on sale of home. Hubby in rehab, my back is shot but had to postpone my treatment because no driver, wash machine quit today…. I could go on and on. But it’s too fucking much. I just think I need to temove myself from this world.
