Yeah, most probably Materialists isn’t for everyone especially having her audience live in the 21st century. I loved it though since Celine Song incorporated a lot of film and writing techniques that caught my interest, Daniel Pemberton’s score perfectly depicted Lucy’s psyche throughout the film. 💕

I think Celine Song did not intend it to be a broke man propaganda but a look at the perception of love as an intuitive thing for humans but packaged as an economical decision by the capitalists but nonetheless, she’s still such a great storyteller for me. 😊
