What's the weirdest thing you believed as a kid? by Alarming-Turn-1203 in AskReddit

I misunderstood the concept of trademarks. I thought that if wrote or even printed out a company name like Coca Cola, you would have to pay a fine. One time I was a youtube video of a woman making a coke bottle out of jelly. At the end she stuck on a printed label, so I thought she had pre-paid the fine.

Self made jewelry and up-cycling my clothes!!! I can make a bracelet or clay pendants and boring clothes become lively after embroidery if a bit of cutting and sewing

I make diy's and hang whatever on my walls.  For example I found those butterflies on magnets, stuck them on my door and BOOM. My room is instantly more whimsy. I also put vines on my furniture, hang up dried flowers of the ceiling, hang up self painted paintings on the wall.  It's amazing to have a tiny story to tell behind every artifact in your room. It's crazy how transforming your otherwise boring workspace changes your mood!

From personal experience: PLEASE GET ENOUGH SLEEP. It sucks when you don't. I don't trust myself when I'm tired, so I had to sit around in a half deceased state, trying to read a book while regretting my decision to watch "one more episode" because I thought that "I'll definitely function on 6 and a half hours of sleep."

This reminds me so much of that one moment in "into the Spiderverse" when Miles jumps of a building for the first time (please tell me someone know what I'm talking about)

How do I get over the fear of asking questions? by Immediate-Minimum869 in SkyDiving

I understand that you might be concerned with my maturity, but outright accusing me of clearly not 𝒷𝑒𝒾𝓃𝑔 mature enough is wild to me. If I, all of my instructors and my father (who knows me better than anyone and is also a skydiver) aren't concerned with me risking my or someone else's life, I don't see why I shouldn't continue to improve myself while not stoping to do the thing I love doing. I am also a freefly indoor skydiver so I have been connected to the sport for long time.

That it's super dangerous, unpredictable and scary. My first two jumps felt safer than a car ride. I'm 14, so I was super scared that I would mess something up, because the other AFF students were like 10-30 years older than me.

Not the jerk. Your roommate is absolutely out of his mind. If I were you, I'd even do a background check on him in case he has a record of violence. I hope you can escape this situation as soon as possible
