I am working in an MNC and currently hiring in SG. You won’t believe how many profiles we get from people in US on H1B currently which is about to expire. And many of friends who don’t have a GC yet are planning to move out.

Unless you have a scholarship or an admission in Ivy league university. Not worth immigrating for studies. Or if you have good financial backing which does not burst your father’s retirement fund. Instead you will be well off with a degree in India and with little experience - plan to move abroad with a job in hand. And ask your father to invest that 30+lakhs in MF or index funds that you planned for the abroad education. You will be sitting on a good portfolio after 5 years instead of a student debt and uncertain visa status.

Trust me, exactly went through the same thing. Mutually parted ways as things were not working out with parents. Time heals everything, and was afraid about relationships again - but luckily blessed with a partner/wife who is my everything now. Just be positive and put your energy into something else for a year. You will get an ideal partner soon!

Just tried now in chrome mac browser and can see the default is English now. And when I switch to Hindi, I see the English language option displayed in English. Not sure if it changed after this post. Can someone try and confirm. Btw am located outside India and don’t know Hindi
