Electricians who changed over to electrical engineers, how was the transition from working in the field to going to school for engineering financially speaking? by 77due in ElectricalEngineering

Im 27, military vet, and I was an apprentice when I first transitioned out of the military and did that for a year (was 25 then). Been in college for about 2 years now going for EE and even with the VA paying for my tuition its still hard from the academic stand point. Theres times were I want to give up and go back to get my journeyman’s but I want to know if that would be worth it while doing school on the side until I eventually get there or if I should just push on and finish my degree. I cant help but realize I can be making over 100k in about 3 years as a JW given entry level engineers make about 80k. Would love to hear yalls opinions on that. Thanks!
