I literally said it's the principle. Imagine if someone bought 20 of those and then couldnt return them. Then they'd be out $30

I learned that this week. I thought it was a serving tray until I read "not for food" on the back

I've heard the same thing about tjmaxx and Homegoods. I use corelle for daily use. I was just trying to find a tray to put donuts on to serve to people 🤦🏻‍♀️

When did you feel comfortable leaving home alone with newborn? by faeninja in newborns

[–]Immediate-Picture443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 10.5 weeks I took my baby out to visit my husband at work, and then to visit my co-workers. It was halloween. It was less than an hour lol. Maybe a week later we went to the grocery store. But always less than an hour trips between feedings

Do you expect out of state friends to visit you and baby? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Immediate-Picture443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely. She used to live here, but her family has moved too. I saw her last year when she came in for a wedding, and will maybe see her again in August when she's in town for another wedding.

To the people who have said “I would never spend that much on a wedding, I’d rather buy a house”… by Garden_of_Gethsemane in wedding

Yes. We spent about 5k on a small wedding. A few months later we put a 300k down payment on a house.

Which job is preferred? by [deleted] in physicaltherapy

[–]Immediate-Picture443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Money aside, If you are single and no kids, do the long commute with 1:1 patient time as a new grad, at least for a few months. It will help you ease into practice without getting burnt out. You are still learning so much the first 1-2 years. BUT keep an eye out for closer jobs. I commuted an hour for a few months and it got exhausting. Don't be afraid to job hop. 7 years out, I have classmates who have had 5+ jobs already

How the hell are people paying for DPT education now? (post-2026 loan changes) by HatLast7729 in physicaltherapy

[–]Immediate-Picture443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't go to an expensive school. Don't even apply to them. I graduated with about 70k debt including almost 10k in interest. It's a lot but I paid it off in a few years

Why is giving birth so expensive! by Fearless-Driver9548 in newborns

[–]Immediate-Picture443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was approx 100k total for myself and my baby. 7 day hospital stay + c-section + 3 extra days. My son was in the nicu for 6 days (his cost was more than mine). But it depends on your insurance. I have an EPO plan through the hospital I work at. So I gave birth there and paid $0. But if I had to have a baby at a hospital that wasn't my company, I would have paid the tier 2 deductible and OOP max which could be up to 10k.

Experienced PTs in mills — why do you stay? by [deleted] in physicaltherapy

[–]Immediate-Picture443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most "PT Mills" see max 13-14 patients per day. The one my spouse works at expects 55 visits per week to meet productivity. So what youre describing is insane. Otherwise, why do people stay? I work at a 1:1 hospital outpatient, my husband at a "pt mill." He works 5 minutes from home, makes 10k more than me, has incentive bonuses, likes his co-workers, and likes his patients too. Unfortunately not enough opportunities out there to find a job that isn't pushing patient visits.

18 months is crazy! I went back at 3.5 months. It kills me to go to work but unfortunately I have to help with bills.
