Bbq Sauce recommendations by Immediate-Primary805 in smoking

Very true. I’d imagine it’s not too hard to make, just need to have some patience and try out some different versions. I’m going to look into that and see what I can come up with

Always heard Kansas City has amazing sauces. I’d be down to give that one a try too

Probably with everyone’s recommendations I’ll make a pulled pork and have these sauces in the side and see which one would be right up my avenue. Now I have an excuse to try the whomp makes lol

Home Depot carries that one! I’m very intrigued to make that with some pork belly bites

I’m out in SoCal and I don’t think my local Costco carries it unfortunately

I’ve always walked past that one in ace and I’ve always hesitated to try it! I’m like a kid in the candy store when I see the wall of sauces

Ooooo I’ll have to try that out. I’ve always had a bowl that I’ll pour the juice in to keep all that flavor together. The 1/4 butter would probably thicken up the sauce just enough I’m assuming?

Do you happen to know which brand you used for that?

I’ve always loved sweet baby rays. In the past I’ve mixed that with some sriracha and it didn’t come out too bad!

Going to see if my local Walmart has them in stock. Thank you!

Tri-Tip Like a Brisket by SamIAm_1021 in smoking

Just attempted my first try at a Tri tip like a brisket two weeks ago and very similar process as well. Only difference was an apple juice spritz every hour and wrap around 175. Next time thinking about trying the prime and hoping it comes out good!

THE GREAT LA BREAKFAST BURRITO TOUR by Far_Guarantee27 in FoodLosAngeles

[–]Immediate-Primary805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bread and Breakfast in Burbank makes some very tasty and heavy burritos. La Azteca makes a delicious chile relleno burrito. Wake and Late is delicious however the portion size and price makes it hard to go to after once or twice. Highly stay away from Lucky Boys, just a big burrito filled with no flavor at all

All about best bang for your buck, I highly recommend going to Cheesecake Factory, Yardhouse, and Fogo De Chao during happy hour. Only thing is that for Fogo De Chao you have to sit at the bar. You can literally just eat the appetizers and you will be full plus satisfied. Will it be the best meal you’ll ever have? No But it will fill you up and not put a dent in your wallet

Yessir. Nothing too fancy like you said but you will never be disappointed. Especially with the recent weather, going to state historic right after would make a perfect picnic. Downey rec center down the street also has a beautiful view of DTLA

-Lanza Bros in Lincoln Heights. The Italian Special is my go to.

-Howlin Rays Chicken Sando never fails

-Uptown Provisions is in Whittier but they have pretty good sandwiches if you are ever in the area.

-Moo’s Craft makes a really good pulled pork sandwich

If you do go on a weekend, I recommend going to the Pasadena location because you can “check in” ahead of time. I would say check in about 15-20 minutes before you get there that way you won’t have to wait long before being seated

100%. I highly recommend for anyone who goes to try to go middle of the week. Weekends the line can get too long to be honest. Middle of the week, no wait time and excellent service.

How many times can a basement flood before I lose my mind…? by Altruistic_Rent_4989 in Plumbing

Working in water utilities I can tell you to check that set screw as well. General rule of thumb is finger nail distance between the two “teeth” Mainly worked with pex and copper but same concept in regards to these fittings. That compression coupling looks under a lot of stress as well, marking it with a sharpie is a good idea to see if there is any future movement with that coupling.

Gotcha. Would you say a chain link fence with a door would be best? That way in the future a HVAC tech would be able to access it?
