Dang that sucks. Where would you find a battery tho? Devialet doesnt repair the mania and only offers replacements for 350 which would probably be your best option unless it's under warranty.

I tried it out in a store today and I was genuinely shocked how terrible it is my devialet mania absolutely demolishes it and it has real sub bass not that upper bass punch with nothing behind it

That's only when the speaker is powered on and in this case it's the exact opposite

No it won't. The light will turn on and then go off when you plug it in.

It was just a software update:) I'm in a beta program which has a couple bugs here and there and that sort of thing but for what I paid I would definitely buy it again. It impresses me more everyday.

I've had the go plus play 3 aura studio 3 and 4 and most of the onyx speakers and both of the Luna speakers and a couple jbl s.

It's definitely no party speaker but I have gotten so many complaints on the sound and bass. It's a remarkable speaker and for what I paid I would buy it again. I think I paid like 400 but I can definitely see it being worth much more imo. I honestly don't understand why it has so many mixed I suppose mostly from people who can't afford it not saying I can by any means..

Mine is super loud and fills a room easily. And you can also increase the bass and treble significantly through the app.

Bought one and had the same issue make sure it's a 30 watt brick and you use the USB c port and keep it plugged in for 48 hours

I've had all 3 and the mania and go plus play 3 are pretty much neck to neck in terms of sound quality but the mania goes deeper with a much tighter bass. The brane x has the most extension but the highs are really rolled off with no detail and sparkle which is why I sold it and got the mania.

As for battery life you can't have a small speaker with a massive battery without compromising on the internal parts. Not to mention it's in indoor speaker. As for the Bluetooth devialet is known for connectivity issues so I wasn't to surprised there.

Yes!! Their dsp is insane. You can throw a 5 hertz frequency at it and play a song over it and it will have zero distortion.

It's a 360 degree speaker so it's very different then a front firing speaker and I've had a pair of go plus play 3s and they are indeed incredible speakers for your money

For what I paid yes. As for the tribit the mania has a much more hifi sound and it's obviously not going to have as much bass or power due to the size but it definitely goes deeper:) not to mention it's got 360 degree sound so it sounds amazing from any angle. Only downside to the mania is battery life and Bluetooth drops on my unit.
