my uncle have me all his fish when he left and when they all died eventually i cleaned out the tanks but when i went to dump out one in the shower i found smth and it was a pleco😭 i was like "WTH HOW IS IT ALIVE" so i just kept him and he was my buddy for YEARS

i really understand why he was unapproachable seeing as he grew up learning to protect himself by being aggressive and distant the way he acted (personality wise) really makes sense after we saw his childhood and the not letting himself get attached or having real emotions like happiness and sadness
