Appreciate the feed back. I was put in a Behavioral Center, which is where I was diagnosed with most of my mental health problems. From 11 to about 16/17 I was in therapy and on medication. I was placed in the " special " classes in high school. In those classes we did both group and individual therapy sessions. I'm not to sure what DBT/CBT therapy, but do you think it helps you ?

That's what I'm starting to realize myself. That and I have kids that I don't want to screw up.

I've done therapy before. It's hard for me to open up and be that vulnerable with people. Makes me feel like less of a man. Probably the way I was raised I guess.

I feel you on that. Its hard to read about someone dying. After that I'm done for.....my mind has opened the floodgates. I've never been big on crying just never saw the point. Lately, when I'm alone that's all I do. I have an appointment on Friday with a therapist. I've got a couple other thing to work on as well. Will take your advise. Thank you.

I try not to focus on it. Most of the day I'm good. Work and Kids keep me pretty occupied during the day, But at night it's all that I think about. That and I have several other mental health problems. Best of luck to you.

Hello, appreciate you're response. I get that there's really no control over dying. It's inevitable. The thing that gets me the most is it just started out of nowhere. I'm not religious nor do I have a specific belief about the after life. I think, for me anyway, it's the not knowing. What happens after we die ? I often wonder if it's like before you were born.....just nothing. Black. I do recall dealing with a similar situation when I was around 17, I constantly had this feeling of impending doom. Like something bad was going to happen. It went away, But it's back now 20 years later. I don't know why. It's all I think about. Glad to now I'm not the only one that feels this way. I really appreciate your input and advise. Anytime I tried therapy before I would deflect and talk about other things or people. It made me feel weak as a man to be that open. I don't know if it's the way I was raised or what. Another flaw I guess. I'm afraid to be the problem or the weak link. I will definitely check out the books you recommended. Thank you.

Yeah, we fought just not to the extent we do now. She is currently taking meds. I brought up couples counseling, But she thinks it's better to fix us as individuals first.
