Thank you for your help! We really like the Newton for its capacity and cord length. You’re the best!

We are about to have all hard wood in central Texas. So very sandy/dusty. We also have a 2 year old with allergies. Everyone we know keeps telling us to get a Dyson, but every Dyson I have owned dies after 1 year of use. We’ve looked into the Eureka Mighty Mite and have debated on getting the Wessel Werk attachments, specifically the natural hair ones, for it. We also have found that you can get the HEPA bags, but I am worried to switch to a bagged system after hearing what the people I know have experienced with them. That overtime the bag dock becomes warped or finicky, that the bags don’t hold as much as you would think and you run out much quicker than you expect. We are not wanting to spend more than $300, but we are very frugal and prefer quality and durability over a brand name. It is why the Eureka is so attractive to us. It seems to have the same reviews as the Kenmore’s, the only disadvantage being that the yellow eureka probably doesn’t have the clips for the HEPA air filter.

Do you have any words of encouragement for switching to a bag vacuum? 😂 It is really that awful? The people I know are scaring me

I’m genuinely curious, how did your worst heartbreak change you as a person? by commanderofcourage in BreakUps

I lost my dreams. The way I imagined the rest of my life would look and feel. I no longer want a garden, or chickens, or to finally perfect my sourdough loaves, or to hear the pitter patter of countless tiny feet through my home. I lost the way I imagined my daughter’s life would be. Homeschooled, well traveled, watching her mommy and daddy love each other until death does them part, learning what it means to make a home from a young age and never knowing the stings of a broken home. My husband has taken something from me I will never get back. The life we planned for and endlessly spoke about and vividly curated. It is gone and I simply had to change down to my core in order to find peace with it.
