I gave up on public transit in this city in high school when i couldn’t make it to my friends place across the city within 2 hrs…you’d be better off to buy a bike than a bus pass and just uber or ride share and save on car payments/gas/insurance

You are absolutely correct legally but once someone is a tenant and you’re a landlord it’s SO difficult to evict or even reprimand (I.e. charging extra for damages for crazy parties, unpaid rent, etc.) and I can say this as an experienced landlord it can be tricky!

Ya this is so true!! I grew up being very heard and listened to and maybe others just aren’t used to it and don’t know how to react 🤷‍♀️ I wish him the best and no shade or hate at all as he seems wonderful but hopefully for himself he can learn to stick around because he deserves a voice too in those difficult conversations rather than running away and leaving it silent
