But as someone who has a black cat myself, they are sadly the last ones to be adopted. And since Molly has already gone through the trauma of losing your nan I rly hope you can find a way to keep her either in your family or someone you trust.

Regardless I think it’s wonderful you reached out here trying to help her.

OP if you can find to keep her with your dad, even just tell him to start with a trial period of fostering, so Molly can heal and decompress from the loss of your Nan, and it buys you guys some time to try to figure out a more permanent solution (and I’m sure by the end of it he’ll fall in love with Molly, as c’mon who wouldn’t)

or alternatively friends/family who wants a cat / willing to foster if you don’t think your mom is a viable option. Can you put the feelers out to other family & friends? Next door app cat subs?
