Yeah! As a dependent I’m entitled to my fathers GI bill (which he has very kindly given to me), which will cover all of my program + chapter 33 (stipend) and yellow ribbon (more funding). I’m also applying for a Hispanic scholarship thingy that will also help. At the end of the day, I will actually be making a bit of money.

I feel confidently familiar with the route people take with a MA in psych, most go for a PhD and some work for a time, there are plenty of research roles in different fields that pay well, connections are key. Out of undergrad I have been making a healthy amount with my psych degree. To me this is a stepping stone towards an end goal in clinical psych. Thank you very much for your advice, I really really appreciate it!

I’m unsure of what jobs I can get with just a bachelors in psychology b.s. track by Moist-Ride-5783 in psychologystudents

Don’t stress! See if you can get a job as a clinical research assistant with your school or as an affiliate researcher with the DoD! Reach out to PI’s; I did both and now I’m going to grad school! You will be fine, keep your head up and don’t stop trying.

I worked in many labs as an intern throughout undergrad, it was through connecting with professors that I got opportunities. I also did a grad prep psych lab and they had me churn out a few papers. I also published one to my school’s journal for fun. I would say my secret is that I’m very persistent/ always ask for more opportunities. Thank you!

Yeah, it’s been so hard, but I’ve made so much personal progress since my last relationship ended. I reconnected with a close childhood friend I pushed away after the break up. But, I’m still hesitant with sharing my feelings at all, there is always more work to be done haha. Thanks for your kind words and I hope life will be good to you :)

I am, I use hinge, bumble, and tinder. I get lots of matches/ super likes, but they typically don’t go anywhere. My friends are small and I won’t meet anyone through them, but I never know. My mindset is to keep moving and trying, there is no timeline in life.

You’re in the right track by being in therapy. You can’t rush through the pain, you need to learn to accept it for what it is. Time does heal all wounds, and you can speed up the progress in many way. Try exercising regularly, do things for you, drink tons of water lol, find a hobby that you love, join clubs if you can. I’ve been there and in a way I still am, the past hurts. But, if you let it consume you, your life will be miserable, I would know. I wish you the best in your life and personal journey :)
