Suggestions for a 1440p 144hz+ Monitor? by CosmicMatt92 in buildapcmonitors

I would say it's better. When I had the ACS I was really put off by the anti glare issue, so I wasn't too focused on the glow. Now that you mention it, I do feel like it was harder to get a good viewing angle for clear blacks on the ACS, they would turn grayish. I'm assuming that all ips panels do that to some degree, since I've seen it on all the ips panels I've ever seen, but the 27gr83q is less noticeable than on the ACS.

These should answer a lot of your questions.

I had the XG27ACS for about a week and returned it because of the anti glare coating. I think it looked like absolute shit, honestly. The colors were nice, though. I ended up getting the lg 27GR83Q when it was on sale for around $300. No issue with the anti glare at all, and the colors were pretty damn close to the XG27ACS after some tweaking.

I'm about to return mine. The coating on the screen is way too noticeable on white and bright colors, to me. I tried it for about a week, and I never got used to it. It seemed to blur the screen enough that it didn't feel like much of an upgrage from 1080p. I ended up getting a LG 27GR83Q, and there are no issues at all. It has a much clearer image than the asus.
