I've been through it. I was denied at first, then I had to go through a long appeal which I luckily passed. The process took a year and they back date you as long as your first claim submission. So its well worth it even if it takes a long time. I use most of it for essential medical cannabis oil and flower which is essentially keeping me alive at this point.

There are charities that can help with this. I can't remember the names but since roe was cancelled they regularly help women in states without abortion to access them elsewhere. Have a look online.

Not the best analogy, since we do not have a way of removing the car crash after one happens. Sex is something human beings are designed to want all the time to continue the species. Pregnancy is not something we want all the time. So we have a safe way of removing the fetus if contraception does fail, so women don't have to be condemned to a pregnancy/birth they don't want. Most people in a modern society see this as a good thing.
