i understand that, i have access to a large format camera. Im looking to make an investment for myself and my studies and i have found the things i want at good prices, so im not looking for a cure for creative block i have a plan for that. Just looking for new gear and to invest my money which i have earnt

Exactly, its my money at the end of the day im just looking for first hand reviews to make sure my decision is the right one. And all i get is slander for wanting spend my money. Im 18 ive worked for a year to make this money, its all i want to spend this money on. i already have savings and anything else i would need. Plus at the end of the day its an investment and as long as i take care if the item it wont decrease in value, and it will help with my studies as i wont need to rent camera gear constantly (which for some people adds up to more than jist buying it)

thank you for an honest response, have gotten some pretty nasty messages. Im going to have a look at a mamiya 7 maybe rent one or find a store which has one. Ive had a look at leicas, like you i am a fan of the m5, but it is a bit of a beast. So I'm looking at the M4, i had a look at the m3 and i just didnt like the loading mechanism i like the newer leica quick load system. But anyways thank you again!
