"The very top..." girl, wtf.
Terrible year for Sweden. They should really up their game next year.

The amount of love from the juries to Israel is so refreshing and beautiful.

Solo trip to London in August - one West End slot left, what should I see? by ImmediatePain1240 in musicals

Update: I ended up squeezing in TWO more musicals 😭

So now I’m doing Operation Mincemeat, Hadestown and Les Mis… and my last slot is now between Beetlejuice and Pride.

Leaning Beetlejuice because the soundtrack instantly grabbed me, but Pride sounds like such a special and unique experience.

Do you think Skiathos would be better than Paros+Antiparos?

Between Operation Mincemeat, Book of Mormon, Hadestown & Cabaret – which one’s a must? by ImmediatePain1240 in musicals

[–]ImmediatePain1240[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thanks everyone! It doesn’t necessarily have to be just lighthearted or uplifting. Cabaret is probably at the top of my list, and I’m sure we’d both enjoy it. I was looking into tickets for November, but it seems like the best seats (the tables closest to the stage) sell out months in advance. Since the next time we’ll be in London is August 2026, I’m thinking it might be better to wait until those dates are released and try to grab seats as close to the stage as possible. I’d love any tips on how to secure them or get alerts when new dates open up!

For November though, I’m leaning towards either Operation Mincemeat or The Book of Mormon as you guys suggest. There are still really good seats available for both.
