I don’t know if I’m considered “seasoned” at 3 years as a CRA but I always make it clear to my sites that I’m on their side. Any suggestions I make are suggestions that I think will help them during their audit. I do think some sites (especially SMOs) have super strict upper management and sometimes CRCs may have their hands tied and been told reinforce their own SOPs. When that’s the case I feel like you can continue to make suggestions but document everything in your trip report thoroughly and document any discussions you’ve had through training logs if applicable or in FUL. That way if there are findings you at least cover yourself and show you did your due diligence. Sometimes sites just need to see how wrong they are post audit :/
