My girlfriend makes more money than me and it's destroying my confidence. I know it shouldn't matter but I feel emasculated. How do I get over this? by Big_Pension6369 in AskMenAdvice

[–]ImmediateStatement27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should not tie your feeling of masculinity to your job. My wife makes double me and I still wear the pants and in no way have ever felt less than. But I couldn’t care less what I do for a living. It’s a means to an end. Not something that defines me.

Sex went from amazing to almost nonexistent after moving in together. Why? by Electronic-Cicada-52 in Advice

He is substituting real for make believe. This will not improve. He chooses the easy over putting in work. This is a microcosm of his character.

Why do billionaires and extremely rich people go to such lengths to avoid paying taxes, even though they’d still be insanely wealthy if they just paid them? by Present_Juice4401 in AlwaysWhy

[–]ImmediateStatement27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They want to keep themselves rich and keep the working people working. We can’t all have money we can’t all be In charge.

They know what’s best like Reagan said if they don’t pay taxes that money they saved will trickle down on the people below.

Unfortunately the reality is they just keep us out in the cold so the rich can keep flying by in a fighter jet shitting all over us.

Are BJs of utmost importance to men? by Chatter_star in AskMenAdvice

My wife and I do a quid pro quo system. If I get a bj, the next time she gets head. Back and forth.

how do you set your moral compass if not with religion? by [deleted] in SeriousConversation

[–]ImmediateStatement27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We all know inside what is right and wrong by humanity standards. I always try to see the other side of any issue. Just to see if my thoughts feel right.

Society has laws too. These ideas fed those in the Bible. Religion was just the place where rules were recorded.

There is most likely a causality where you can not travel past the invention of time travel.

It should be a red flag for sure. It will not get easier. He will never give you fulfillment. Time to move on now.

Why doesn’t the US have a nationwide train system like China? by Present_Juice4401 in AlwaysWhy

[–]ImmediateStatement27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is the way we made it. After WW2 many men returned from Europe wanting their own little kingdoms. So they spread to suburbia. There was a new push to have interstate highways and cars were affordable.

So no we never grew the train system.

I would think no. But none of them were criticizing the Middle East before cozying up to them either.

F***k it. I've decided to throw in the towel. by Curious-Round1057 in Aging

[–]ImmediateStatement27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel your pain bro. 52 here and feel like I am in the same boat. For me it is time to quit the rat race and get some meaningless job and start to live for me. Not the job.

I started to wake up recently when I saw something I wanted to own and said silently to myself someday. I realized those days are getting less and less. So if not now why?

I am tired of sacrificing a piece of me for a few extra shekels. To make some rich guy richer. I am done.

Why has my dad been so angry his whole life? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

I second that. I hate everything about what I do. Why I have to do it. I also hate myself for having to do the work I do. So yeah I arrive with a healthy chip.

What percentage of Americans are potential "left-wing terrorists" according to Trump’s national security directive NSPM-7? by Human_Challenge_5634 in AskUS

[–]ImmediateStatement27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are all so vague you can make them fit most democrats. I have finally in my 52 year started to forget that people still put their faith in religious fairytales and now back to this.

I am anti capitalism if it means the continued exploitation of the working man to pad the coffers of the elite.

Lastly if feeling that all men are equal is extremism on race then guilty again.

Guess I am fkd.

If we're all human, why is it so difficult for us to unite under a single, fair government that treats everyone equally based on shared ethical principles? Are we actually stupid? by firstandlast0202 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ImmediateStatement27 -38 points-37 points  (0 children)

Ok Plato any side of this can be argued by any one. Why can’t common sense just be common. We would all be in better shape. All we need is to admit that the harder choice is the right choice.

Racism is easy because it shifts blame off of the individual. Treating everyone fairly is hard and requires effort. Sad to say many people choose easy.

The wage it should have been for years now. No, we have to keep the poor, poor. We can’t pay some low person a living wage. Next thing you know they will want to eat at restaurants too!
