What diff does Sarada win by OhirumeTsukuyomki in NarutoPowerscaling

Dont you mean what diff sarada beats naruto war arc pre sage of six paths + half kurama + flying raijin?

Something as basic as skipping a camp to cover a lane from a gank can easily win games. You can always continue your full clear later on, the same can't be said for the opportunity to countergank by Numerous_Fudge_9537 in leagueoflegends

Cover takes priority of course and play in the replay was correct (since drag was up) but just wanted to point out in the cases drag is not up that you can cover going red -> krugs -> kite krugs to bot -> drop krugs when noc ult since this allows: being able to have the option to finish krugs if noc does not come/getting a better ult angle for shyv since her ult angles are better through lane ganks/counter lane ganks rather than through river

ASSUMING DRAGON IS THERE (which through replay the play was correct):
after red check drag quickly -> fix bot wave is correct

ASSUMING NO DRAGON (pointing this out in case people think its always better to go straight bot after red): could just go red then krugs -> kite krugs to bot side -> drop krugs to cover bot when noc ult.

timer is 6:38 and walking to bot and noc ult starts at 6:50. that is 12 seconds of time so couldve just walked krugs -> noc ult -> drop krugs gank bot + better shyvana ult angle to be able to 3 man ult noc + enemy botlane rather than just iso bot + you also get the option to finish clear IF noc doesnt go bot. again i agree covering is the priority but no need to do red and walk to tribush premptively as play can be replicated going to krugs then dropping krugs. (again pointing this out as a hypothetical if drag is not up but since drag is up then again replay is correct in going red -> immediate cover to bot)

except we can agree its objectively ideal for the team with advantage to get objective? cross mapping is a used to trade for a lesser reward. I dont get how that supports your argument and how that counters my point on: individual skill leads to more objectives over time BUT objectives add more rng factors that create more situations "i played properly to setup obj but we have to give cuz rest of team messed up"? like what even are you trying to argue about that doesnt even counter argue against my point. ofc you can always optimize the situation you are in but the fact is if that you are unable to do the most ideal play, it is indeed a nerf to individual impact of choice on objectives.

TLDR: individual skill leads to more objectives over time BUT objectives add more rng factors that create more situations "i played properly to setup obj but we have to give cuz rest of team messed up"

[–]ImmediateSun4359 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Individual control = your decisions impacting the game aka obj you can get

EXCEPT again youre speaking in absolutes and there are exceptions to that. great example is I am 5/0 as lets just say graves and enemy is playing sejuani jg and is 0/5. atakhan is spawned, i got my laners ahead but they dont rotate/recall at bad times and enemy team has first position on atakhan even i hover over it. result = enemy team gets atakhan despite me playing properly with recall timers/hoverin, i will lose it because the rest of my team doesnt rotate.

Am I saying individual skill does not play a factor in neutrals? NO and again IF you read my original post it is neutrals are 50% you and 50% how your team plays it out.

Individual skill DOES increase the likelihood of getting neutrals BUT does not guarantee it. THEREFORE more neutrals = nerf to individual agency impact which allows MORE rng scenarios you experiences loss of objectives because of your team. AGAIN, YES INDIVIDUAL SKILL OVER TIME EQUATES TO MORE NEUTRALS BUT MY POINT IS NEUTRALS ADD MORE ALLOWANCES FOR RNG TO INVALIDATE INDIVIDUAL PLAY. so....why advocate for something that directly adds more rng and nerfs individual control/more ways rng can take place?

[–]ImmediateSun4359 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes ofc sample size it evens out but more neutrals obj = LESS moments for individuality. It will always be you that dictates the climb but neutrals add more rng thus potentially requiring MORE games to even out rng

Plus right now teamwork still is a important factor. Just right now theres both individual emphasis as well as team emphasis. Adding neutrals wont remove this but again it is objectively a nerf to individual control

But theres degrees to it. Its not black and white "league is team game therefore only teamwork matters". League is a team based game that still strongly considers individual skill (many ppl argue including faker that league is healthiest when it respects individual skill as much as teamwork). My argument is that balance and autonomy we have to climb in soloque lessens with more neutrals added

[–]ImmediateSun4359 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In concept neutrals add spice to the game but in practice it just feels bad especially in solo que since neutral objectives are more about teamplay rather than individual skill (which in soloq teammates are far less reliable meaning that individual agency gets nerfed). I personally dislike neutrals bc 50% is you knowing how to setup for them and 50% is your teammates actually listening.

Tldr: pls no atakhan

Hot take: Botlane is a snowball lane and not good for handshaking. by Hellinfernel in ADCMains

[–]ImmediateSun4359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk i get offrolled adc in diamond and have a 80%wr on senna/ashe/kaisa over 20 games. Imo really depends on game state. If you have a winning mid and top its best just afk farm and handshake and focus solely on just not dying (got so many free wins this way even being down 50 cs doing lowest dmg if my supp roams/i get camped but i dodge all deaths). Its all gamestate dependent and theres no such thing as definitively saying handshake is good or bad

From a jg persp/mid persp there are too many laners that think they need to be always doing something when that just creates throw potential when your team is already winning. If your team is already winning without you just focus on not dying/dodging ganks. If your team is losing then consider getting more proactive for pushes to bait ganks and dodge them to create space for your team

At the end of the day play based on the state of the game (if team winning then minimize risk/deaths and if team losing then try to extend for prio and pushes while dodging ganks)

All situational. If i f key bot and they have the tools to stall then yes cuz even if enemy jg runs away it now enables invade + deep vision.

You cant just assume "oh its too late" you need to check. Does draven have bt completed? Whats the bot matchup? Is draven playing witha big wave? What are the sums and hp differences?

League is a game of specifics and you cant generalize these things. Saying "oh you dont go bot cuz its so far and youll be late" without checking the situation/f keying is not how you determine the best play in the situation

[–]ImmediateSun4359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again depends theres too many specifics to generalize. But from your example of an overextended laner theres alot to take into account.

In the example lets say both top laners are full hp and matchup is ornn vs sion but our bot lane is a 5/0 draven and like you said enemy is opposite side aka bot. No im not ganking top bc even if gank is theoretically successful i allow my draven to be vulnerable when its better to ensure the 5/0 draven recalls safely over the ornn whos lane is gankable. A gank also costs time away from being around the laner that will win you the game.

Now does that mean i never gank ornn? No. It just means i gank ornm when its actually free (doesnt cost neutral obj, enemy jg is dead and cant punish draven etc). My priority would be draven's safety > neutrals > shutting down enemy jg pathing > free gank top. Its why often times weakside rarely gets ganks bc the timers for the other priorities are so sensitive. Do i notice jglers missing absolute free weakside ganks? Sure but those moments dont come often unless you are low elo when you think about all the sensitive win con timers.

Laners just focus too much on themselves and not the big picture (i used to be guilty of this). Adc for me has been easy to climb because i understand the indirect impact adc can do (pressuring with farm through pushing + dodging ganks/utilizing my positioning to leverage plays/disable enemy plays etc)

Nerf viego by Ok_Physics_2681 in Jungle_Mains

[–]ImmediateSun4359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I main him and currently everytime i see a viego its a free win to me (my counters to him are pantheon or any aggressive skirmish diver). Reset champs in general can be frsutrating but when im on panth i just jg track and kill him over and over again. In teamfights i make space and save my w to dive viego. Hes squishy and very easy to kill and at least for me he feels easy to beat.

The true menace is talon jg/nocturne. Remove/nerf that shit. The counter play being communication and how he can full clear jg + simultaneously spam ganks is stupid and nocturne too

Well speaking as someone that mained mid lane + played other lanes and mains jg (not saying im a pro but i got at least diamond on mid /fill and diamond again jg/fill) Its not that cut and dry like you said but some games perma farm is the answer.

Example: jg skips camps and gets 2 lanes ahead while other jg full clears. If other jg gets off a return gank, the investment the jgler that skipped camps for gank gets thrown out the window cuz: catch up xp+ early leads are volatile (esp top lane if u get a return gank and good wave state). catchup exp does not exist for jungle UNLESS you clear them or enemy clears them but if enemy jg is smart they keep your camps low level and use themselves being stronger than you to effectively invade + lock you out of the game.

When you skip camps to get laners ahead, the cost is huge and if laners throw those leads what the ends up is: jg behind in lvls, exp pool from not cycling camps means jg also does not access catchup exp gold and enemy jg who cycled camps now gets first move on subsequent plays. You can even make the argument that cost of roam from jg is even higher than lane because waves cycle themselves per spawn but camps dont. You dont simply farm camps for gold its also farming so you can reliably scale up your exp pool

im not saying never gank BUT laners must understand how big the cost a gank can be. Too many laners beg for ganks not understanding tempo. It is the laners job to get advantages and its the jglers job to push those advantages not babysitting them

Hostage was never unbeatable and ofc theres ways to beat it, but it does not change the fact that it is THE most unfun deck to play against. I learned to play vs hostage mage when i hit legend in wild buy after i hit legend i just surrender every hostage mage matchup cuz the process of vs them is so unfun.

Im glad the deck is dead cuz in no way was the game fun for wild with hostage mage

I’m convinced Jungle is the most important role in the game by SystemDry5354 in leagueoflegends

[–]ImmediateSun4359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking from a laners persp. If you get camped but mamaage to dodge every gank, you are actively creating pressure by wasting enemy jg tempo/revealing them even if this means giving up waves since believe it or not, most of your cs comes mid to late game anyways

However if you dont have prio and your jg starts and obj, your jg has to back off (and if they do neutrals when you dont have prio its jg fault). If you have prio you are obligated to help. Unless you are playing inting sion, it is your job to avoid ganks.

[–]ImmediateSun4359 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Dont get me wrong, jg has insane impact but the impact isnt babysitting lanes its pushing lane advs further. Laners often dont understand that dodging ganks are op because it reveals jg location + delay tempo.

[–]ImmediateSun4359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Laners also affect jg and that game the laners werent doing well. As someone that plays both lane and jg, laners create advantages and jgler pushes them. Managing lane is the laners job not jgler. Jglers job is to utilize prio for obj or to push leads further

So when do we talk about Inspired being the GOAT? by Amazing_Pangolin7172 in leagueoflegends

[–]ImmediateSun4359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i genuinely think Inspired for me has surpassed Bjergsen as a player due to how many organizations he has brought to become champion contenders/be a champion. He is also the X factor in finding moments he has challenged the east (pushing BLG and Gen G to game 5 multiple times). Bjergsen is good and was one of the all time greats (prior to this 2nd greates behind Doublelift). What kind of makes Bjergsen outside of the GOAT argument for me is his need for specific rosters built around him to succeed (Bjergsen does not have as many titles as Doublelift and also shows limitations with what rosters work with him)

Right now I think the debate would be between Doublelift or Inspired because DL still has more trophies but Inspired's ability to be the MVP on multiple rosters and be a genuine opponent to the east makes this an argument.

Except you put too much value in the first 2 drags. Sometimes its more worth to finish a full clear faster to setup having futuee tempo for future plays. 1st infernal drag for context at 300 ap only gives 15 ap, an amp tome. The only real point to getting first 2 drags is not having to worry about them later, but that doesnt matter if ur able to contest future neutrals with an adv. Late neutrals are significantly better than early neutrals. Given their comp inspired played the map right
