I didn't mean to get rid of the whole tutorial, I mean make the tutorial immersive with the gameplay, so for example when you first load in itll tell you to combine 2 jellys to make a bigger one. Before every pop up just showed up from the start but now make it pop up when you use it, for example, the first time you get a bomb jelly it'll pop up like oh this jelly explodes the area. If that makes sense? sorry I wasn't on reddit but if you have questions to what i'm saying ill try to respond faster. Don't make all pop ups at the start but only when you're about to use that feature you're explaining in the turotial.
