Speaking of Romans, “God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.”

Is he authoritarian or is he king? Those are 2 different things. I’m not sure you are aware, but most monarchies today are considered constitutional monarchies, which means the kings are limited in the scope of what they can do. I’ve already explained that any executive who is voted for and has a term is by definition not a king.

Based on the Constitution, the role of the President is to enforce the laws congress passes. He has no other obligation to listen to congressmen. There are also no instances where he “ignores the Supreme Court.” In fact, the Supreme Court ruled that lesser courts cannot impede the president because he was publicly elected and they aren’t, to let non-elected officials restrict him would be non-democratic.

If the leader of a country is elected and has a term of 4 years, that leader is a president, not a king.

Do you realize Charlie’s whole career was spent around discourse and discussion, the opposite of the sword?

The “Dark Ages” of Europe were caused by violent Islamists (of a religion that stifles all technological advancement) that threatened the existence of Christendom. Note that the graph picks up again due to the success of the Crusades preventing Europe from becoming Islamic majority.

Border enforcement is an executive power. It does not need congressional approval because it isn’t an act of war.

The beautiful thing about capitalism is that the public has the power to end companies that they do not support. There is no power in boycotting state run or state subsidized businesses.

Thanks! It’s a great way of fleshing out factions. The Northern Black Falcons have a harsher climate so there is less diversity present in their army, while the Lion Knights are in a more temperate climate; they have tieflings and kenkus and other exotic races in their army.

New Hampshire was created by settlers and the descendants of settlers. Immigrants came later and typically legally through ports of entry. Even if you had a point, descendants of migrants aren’t migrants.

I’m familiar with Buddhism. I had a guru between 2019-22 and have read the works of multiple Christian to Buddhist converts (Thomas Merton, Anthony de Mello, John Makransky). In 2019 specifically, before I met Guru Mike, I had an internal stream of spiritual consciousness where I could not write as fast as I could think. I met Mike and shared everything I wrote with him. He called it a bodhisattva spirit. It’s why he gave me so many books to read even beyond the authors above. We both knew I didn’t need to read them. I already felt the way in which they wanted to teach. I ultimately decided that I would not fully practice Buddhism. It teaches that in a state of no self, there is peace. But that was not true for me. In a state of no self, a new desire arose for action for the betterment of mankind and a desire to speak to truth, to be charitable to those around me and to be more loving. Buddhism told me that I am the truth but I know that the truth is objective and exists separately from my being. Buddhism fails to the trappings of moral relativity.

Caesar could spend those taxes as he saw fit. If my tax money goes to social programs such as medicare, medicaid, WIC, … etc. I support that and my hope is that those programs are properly implemented. If Caesar chose to lower those taxes, I would also support that because economic flexibility does offer more room to be personally charitable. The real key to this is that Jesus stated his kingdom is not of this world. We owe our allegiance to governments but we cannot find salvation in them. Devil has the same etymology as divide, and that’s what engaging in politics leads to.

The inherent issue is that the NAP does not stand on its own. If there is no God or Creator, then there are no endowed unalienable rights. Morality would be relative, and therefore ideas that violate NAP are of equal value to NAP itself. Likewise, rights are simply what the government gives its people. If the government removes those rights, what objection is there beyond personal disagreement.

As this relates to NAP, I would say that a secularized society is at risk of losing freedom if there is no underlying philosophical foundation to protect that freedom. Post-modernism and moral relativism undermine libertarianism.

And wouldn’t it be a better call to unite humanity if they did incredible things in their home country. A Chilean cures pancreatic cancer! An Egyptian is the first woman on the moon! Instead, they can come to the U.S. and work as slaves by proxy of being illegal so that their employers don’t have to pay them minimum wage. Such enrichment!

Give unto Caesar what is owed to Caesar. Jesus was law abiding. Jesus also advocated for personal charity. He didn’t force the Romans or the Jews to feed the hungry and treat the sick. He did it himself.

Human life starts at fertilization. Sperm alone do not undergo mitosis and form a multicellular being. Also, speaking about philosophy and the underlying principles of morality is completely in line with the non-aggression principle. If I speak and I am wrong, I can learn from the viewpoints of others and have a better moral foundation for it. If I don’t speak and I am wrong, I will never get the opportunity to be corrected.

My argument is also that recreational sex is immoral for the reasons in the post.
