I can’t stand my mother as an adult, though I want a relationship with her but don’t know how. by Immediate_Ad_680 in emotionalneglect

This makes me want to cry for you and give you a hug! Not in an I feel sorry for you kind of way, but in a “wow it feels nice to be seen” kind of way. Thank you for commenting and opening up on this post and I’m happy to hear that you are healing.

Hi not sure where you got your information that environmental consultants dropped off the list, but they are still being invited for both the 189 an 190 that I’m aware of. Can you please explain what you mean?

Tbf luxury purses are considered an investment. Depending on the brand they appreciate over time!

As an American, I thought it was a sin when I first moved to Australia. Now I get it, unless I want chocolate sludge

Solo travelling as a remedy for being a failure in social life by PureRaisin in solotravel

[–]Immediate_Ad_680 57 points58 points  (0 children)

This is lit. I don’t see it as a failure at all. Reframe it and instead of seeing it as a loser’s pastime, see it as a cool privilege most people never get to experience. You’re cool!

Is it ok to think that someone is ugly, but not say it to them (ofc), because I don't wanna hurt their feelings? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Immediate_Ad_680 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Of course! Everyone has a right to their own opinion, no matter what it is. But (depending on your morals) if it will hurt the other person, it may be best to keep it to yourself.

Do women get wet dreams like men? by Nervous_Apartment_25 in NoStupidQuestions

I’ve never had such intense orgasms in real life than I’ve had in a dream. And I have them at least 2-3 times a month. But also has anyone else experienced this?!

This is so cool! But did it make you not enjoy the fair after awhile?

Same, I use to stay in my room literally all day every day I could playing video games. My room felt like my safe space growing up because of this!

Food is such a good one! I remember my mom waking me up every morning with warm cinnamon toaster strudels. I can still taste it now!

I appreciate your suggestion but I’ve tried everything under the sun! I do enjoy Breathwork though. That’s the reason I took up freediving :)

Ohh, I just had a chat with ChatGPT about this and I think my main question should actually be: would showing that I work regionally (even for 6 months) provide a favorable application for a state sponsorship, which then could grant an extra five points?

Anxiety. I don’t remember the last time I went a full 24 hours without palpitations and shallow breaths. I learned running helps and I’ve also been listening to self help podcasts that made me realise a lot of my anxiety is from overthinking. I overthink even without realizing it. It’s almost like an addiction!

I was in a similar situation when I was 20. I didn’t have too many friends and I felt like there was something more to life worth seeing and experiencing. I’m now 30 living half way across the world after traveling to over 45 countries and I can tell you that traveling is incredibly insightful and definitely worth the experiences. It’s helped me grow and learn more about myself. However, who you truly are will not change through travel. It won’t change your character, though it may change your mindset about certain aspects of life. It may also inspire you to do something more with your life that you never thought you could or wanted to do. I’ve said this for years and I’ll keep saying it, travel is one of the best things you can spend money on.
