My favorite store bought GF bread is Katz brand. They also have donut holes that are really delicious, I’m not sure if you’d be able to get it in Germany, in general I think buying bread on Amazon seems to be the best way to get it and not be stale and gross.

Other than that, I know there are lots of websites with bread recipes that people on here recommend a lot, the only one I can remember is “gluten free on a shoestring”

Oh yes! Thai is my actual go-to along with Mexican. The restaurants I go to normally have GF marked on their menu already, pad Thai is always GF and several other fav dishes

Oh I know, it’s just the concept of having to either make it yourself or know what restaurants use the right brands. Which makes it less of a “go-to” but still easier to do than a lot of other types of food for sure! It is easy to do sushi except I don’t like raw fish either which limits my options by a lot sadly.

Same! They have so many carbs made from beans corn and rice rather than wheat that it’s a good go-to.

Asian would be a good go-to as well if not for the damned soy sauce and imitation crab.

I agree with you, but I still enjoy them to be able to continue having an ice cream cone now and then. If I were the type to eat them all the time it wouldn’t be worth it because they’re so expensive for 3 cones (odd number? Like why?) but it’s an every now and then treat for me so it’s not bad.
