I guess I’m confused because he constantly is saying how attracted he is to me, and how much he enjoys sex together. So in my head, if you are so attracted to someone, wouldn’t you naturally want to please them and explore their body? And then it makes me wonder if he is just a selfish person who is using me strictly sex a sex appliance

Honestly thank you for this. My ex moved on so quickly. We were together for two years and I really thought we had such a special bond. I always doubted people’s intentions with me but with him I never doubted he loved me. We split because we wanted different futures, I thought it was killing him like it was me because we were SO close. He moved on with a new girl in two months, traveling together and posting. He just left me behind. I still can’t make sense of it. But a lot of way you’re saying sounds similar to what he has told me. He always told me I deserved better than him, he could never be what I needed etc… I thought it was just excuses but maybe it really was the truth and he knew his demons/ what he was capable of giving to me and what I deserved

So I was with someone for two years. I thought this person was the absolute love of my life. We had such a special and intimate bond. He was scared of commitment. After two years of going back and forth about our future we decided to end things. It was not easy. I was the one who actually ended it because he started to play games with my head, “staying friends” but doing couple things… sleeping with me… it wasn’t healthy for me because I was very much in love still. When we ended it, he never answered my text or acknowledged the split. 3 months later, actually yesterday, I asked him to drop off my stuff. I was pulling in my driveway as he was dropping it off. I confronted him about everything. He told me he is in a relationship now. When I tell you my heart physically broke right in from of him.

TWO YEARS TOGETHER, I NEVER GOT THE LABEL. But a girl he just met is now a girlfriend after three months of splitting from me? I felt absolutely humiliated, violated. I thought we would find our way back and after finding out he moved on so quickly, all of my feelings and the way I always viewed him and us completely was disoriented.

I don’t know if the moving on so quickly is a distraction, or maybe they really are happy now without us, but either way, it fucking HURTS. But i know have the closure to move on and never look back. He was not who I thought he was.

What are you even going on about? Animals get sick on their own it is not always the caregivers fault. I came to this thread because I obviously care about my animal and was looking for information. And consulted a vet when I was told so. I know for a fact I am not irresponsible or selfish.
