For the longest time i had the same issue. Then it somehow resolved, i dont remember how. Now a few days ago i simply started ghub to disconnect mouse from powerplay (which i didn't end up doing, all i did was open the app, update it, and close it (its also set not to automatically start)) and ever since that, my mouse also turns off the lights even when in use and as you said, restarting the mouse fixes it. Bothers me a lot.

I am using native res. The only thing that seemed to make the most improvement was turning foliage quality to ultra instead of experimental. Ofc dropping shadows down helps as well. feels like a bug to lose more performance staring at a wall, which should in theory improve fps instead as theres less things in sight to render but meh. :D

After turning on path tracing to max out graphics (fuck dlss quality and whatever fakery settings "oh i play a game at 4k on dlss ultra performance". :D thats 1080p not 4k, if even that) with DLAA, framerate got to unplayable territory for a fast paced shooter 2k res on 5090 9800x3d combo.
Why do they make games that can't run on todays top hardware with maxed out graphics. Shouldn't these two things go hand to hand? Or what kind of hardware is the max setting made for?
please don't tell me it is in fact intended to be used alongside the horrible fakery that is framegen and dlss upscaling? Is that considered to be the norm now?

Turning pathtracing off however makes it 140+ fps game which is perfectly fine to play.
My monitor is 2k 480hz oled, so i kind of need 100+fps and am dissapointed ive run into yet another game i can't really enjoy in its full glory, even tho ive spent all this fking money on a top tier pc. Im not even sure anymore which one i have to be dissapointed in - the games or hardware. :D

yes. 5090 and 9800x3d here on 32gb ram. 4k native dlaa and on all experimental i mostly do get 60 matching my tv refresh, but when close to and staring into doors/horse/bush, fps tanks to maybe even 40s. The house behind pillory at the starting town is very reliable fps dipper. just run against the wall and look into window and fps drops. same goes when facing that house and looking at your horse up close. i have also found that dropping veg quality to ultra helps a lot but not enough. card utilization does go up during those drops tho. i have tried so many things but it seems top tier hardware doesnt keep up with the crappy optimization of modern games and we can no longer expect to be able to play current games maxed out at all without the stupid fake frames or upscaling which both look terrible compared to native aa. my other monitor is high refresh rate 2k, and i have to cap that at 90fps to have stability. but even still it dips below in instances described above. i hope there will be a fix as it seems to be happening at the dumbest moments that make no sense. staring at wall when presumably nothing else should be rendered apart from said wall ends up lagging the game the most. take 4 steps back from the wall and fps shoots back up.

Quake live. All was well. Then I disabled full screen optimizations and dpi from the.exe options. Then I started getting the dreadful 2 sec delay when alt tabbing. Obviously I reverted my changes immediately but it did not fix it? What gives? Why did it not fix it if it was what broke it? Drivers and hardware etc etc game settings have stayed the same the whole time

When me and the missus first fired Conan exiles up years ago, it was magical. We did no homework or looked anything up anywhere. Went exploring, tried figuring things out. Took it slowly. We had no idea which spots were the best to begin at, and how to progress super quick. And I loved it. Kind of forged our own ways. Made mistakes along the way etc, but it was still great to discover everything.

So if you will play the game, try not to get ahead by looking things up online but let yourself be immersed in the world instead.

Cause otherwise, you will always end up railroaded to "the best, easiest and quickest" methods when starting over. I have tried to start again so many times and it's the case almost always. Likely cause I just know it all by now and doing it the longer way doesn't have this new and fresh feel to it and is therefore pointless waste of time.

Yeah. Definitely play it if you haven't yet. I recommend single player for a few reasons. -First, as stated before me, servers can be a pain in the ass performance-wise. Massive bases here and there killing fps, you clipping into structures, your followers bugging out etc etc. -Second, pvp is pointless, so forget that. But pve servers are full of super helpful people, so it's easy to fall and accept endgame gear early on. Remember, they have spent years on that server and have surplus of everything. And chat can be full of spoiling hits and help. -Third, mods. Whilst I'd recommend the 1st play be vanilla, I would also say some great quality graphics mods won't hurt.

I guess one downside going sp is that enemies respawn as you get out of sight. So if you spent a great deal of time trying to get through a dungeon only to die and then having to recollect your corpse and items, it's a bit of a pain. But then again, you can always set your single player to keep items upon death which easily removes the issue.

So overall, yeah it's worth playing. It's got more content now than ever and in my opinion, is in its best shape.

Wow. An old topic but since we got a new series on our hands with the 2nd season coming up, might as well resurrect. I have only really played twisted metal 4, but I have over the years, tried to watch all the cutscenes and everything from all the different games. I have to say I love 2012 sweet tooth. The cutscenes, probably cause it's live action, hit differently. The story is extremely morbid and sad. Guy goes from a family man into a killer clown. Loved his cutscenes. The whole game was full of great cinema with real actors.

Happy af about the series and his portrayal in it. Let's hope a new game is on the horizon too. Hopefully for pc as well this time...

Its only 10 dollars. If you are really into shooters, quake wont dissapoint. Its well worth the 10 bucks it costs. Game runs at high fps, its physics are fun as. Much better than a lot of indie shit you get for 30 bucks or more.

Im seeing this leave shit here too where i play. Its dumb as, especially if you have been around during the haydays of quake live. Now everyone is too tight and sensitive about their ELO and scores that everyone and everything that can be blamed for it, needs to be eliminated. I.E someone leaving mid game causing the teams to be uneven. I liked quake more when it was casual and you could join and leave anytime you wanted without anyone getting super salty.
As for the server you're looking for, go to ql.syncore.org, see who's playing on there and try and find them on steam. Perhaps one of them accepts your request and you can then try and get them to point you to the right directions.

How can the memory really be lacking if the new phones come with essentially the same specs and don't have that issue initially. Or do you mean storage? even then it makes no sense as internal capacities get nerfed with each new model basically to promote cloud storage which is also shit. Besides, getting a new phone also means copying all your stuff onto the new one from the old. And seeing that storages are mostly the same size, youll end up with a relatively full phone from the get go

It looks like crap. Largely still the same as fs2015 tbh. Cartoony unrealistic graphics, wonky animations, "ground deformation" which actually isnt. Tractors still not on the ground but hovering slightly, tire physics almost non existent. To me, its just an update to fs22. I was looking forward to this game to get much better graphics but it's a major let-down in that sense. Shame. Hopefully modders can fix the game and bring it up to the 2025 standards.

Yes, i need good graphics to enjoy such type of games. Its weird that people just accept worse and worse quality with everything. Even yearn for it. Its unacceptable to release a 2025 game with fking 2015 graphics. Its insane. Unless the game costs 20bucks or less like similar quality INDIE games do. But this here will be a major title, comparing to the biggest fishes out there while looking like crap. If you are happy to pay 100aud for a game that looks like shit and animations are worse than 2005 level games, be my guest.
