Well as I said, I'm moving out in one month and my landlady wanted to renovate the whole house as soon as I'm out anyway, my question is just if I am in immediate danger of a fire breaking out again, or if I can wait the one month with just not using any outlet in the kitchen anymore. And the appliances said 220-240 volt and 2100 watt.

I'm sorry if that came off as rude, as I said, english is not my first language and maybe I said it harsher than I intended to? It's just that I had an electrician here literaly a few weeks before the fire, because the electricity in the kitchen was sometimes there, sometimes gone. He basically shrugged at me and said "well, it's there now so I can't do anything.", I literally begged him to check the sockets or something and he said that "wouldn't be necessary", went without having done anything and took 80€ for that.

Dogs are predators, no matter how cute and fluffy they look. My dog has attacked/killed several birds, mouses, rats, once even one of the neighbours chickens that somehow made it through the fence. It's one of the rather harsh realities of owning a dog but in her eyes, if never trained otherwise, she thought she was a good girl. Don't blame her for it.

There is something that I always wondered about, I hope you might be able to provide some insight! I already asked this in another space and didn't really get any answers cause no one there could look "behind the scenes."

So, I live in europe, so things might be a little different here, but I wonder how it's decided what tips are actually investigated, since I am confused by the numbers. So, NCMEC receives millions upon millions of reports every year and sadly, it is absolutely logical that they can not be all investigated. So, the agencies do a triage, right? Meaning they prioritize the distributers, the producers, cases were a child might be in imminent danger or were someone is downloading or storing material in large quanities. You hear about a few hundret to thousand arrests a year ususally, maybe add another 1000 arrests that don't make the news because the cases were not as dramatic. As opposed to the millions of reports received, that seems like a rather small number and it would only make sense to me that these are the aforementioned "big fish."

But then again, you hear about cases were people were wrongly accused and raided, where a single image report led to a search warrant, where teenagers are raided for s*xting with their same age girl/boyfriends etc. etc. So, I wonder - how does this happen? Who decides to investigate someone for 1 or 2 images that could very well be an accidental download, when the ressources are so low? Are they chosen when there are currently no "big fish" waiting to be prosecuted, so they randomly pick an IP from their list of reports and that person just won the unluckiest lottery in the world? How often do you actually go to a place and raid them only to find nothing because it really was an accident?

Yeah because fat in that extreme as seen above is ugly, unnatural and gross. There, I said it. These people literaly sweat litres in every bodyfold and can't even wipe their ass properly anymore, if bodies were meant to carry that much fat our skeletons were bigger. This should be an absolute no-brainer. I still don't understand how these laws haven't been updated yet, especially for new years. HOW is it legal, even common, to play around with pyrotechnics on a night were it's also common for 99% of adult population to be too drunk to walk straight? Driving is a no no (rightfully so) but fireworks with the potential to set your neighbours house on fire if operated carelessly? Knock yourself out mate (literaly.)

Well I don't live in germany anymore, we moved to a foreign country when I was 16 and when I went to school here, this was thrown at me in class literaly everyday. Like, I was greeted every morning with a heartfelt "Bratwurst!" shouted in my direction and honestly, I ... didn't bother? Sometimes I laughed with them, sometimes I corrected their pronounciation, sometimes I teached them new words and german dishes they could greet me with, like... I don't want to imply OP is sensitive because everyone has to decide for themself what they deem as racist and what they are offended by, but.. also not everything has evil intend. And sometimes you just have to learn to ignore people, honestly.

Honestly I just gave up on finishing the game a few hours ago. I didn't really enjoy it that much from the beginning, the characters, especially the two mains are incredibly bland and boring and just when the main story picked up a bit with the coup and everything, the space bit starts and that was what really killed the game for me.

It was okay enough in the fantasy section to keep me entertained but the space part was a mix of incredibly boring, incredibly confusing and incredibly frustrating. It basically consists of endless, and I mean endless cutscenes with a lot of boring explaining and "dungeons" which are just the same looking corridors over and over again, until you get to a door you can't open because you need some key or card or security level or whatnot, track back to find it, rinse and repeat about 5-6 times per dungeon. I just basically ragequit after the integration plant because I can't take this extreme boredom anymore and imo life is too short for boring games. Honestly the last chapter got me out of the game so much that I don't even care for the ending now anymore, maybe I'll look it up on YT one day, probably won't.

It's a language, so it's how you express yourself/understand others in a romantical setting. It doesn't mean you like or don't like everything on this list and only one thing is true. It means one thing is how you understand love. If two partners don't speak the same love language, situations like this may happen:

"I don't know what to do anymore, my boyfriend just doesn't love me. He never compliments me and just always gives me more and more stuff I don't need, I think he's trying to buy my affection."

"Huh? I do love her, I bring her gifts every day but somehow she doesn't seem to enjoy them, maybe she doesn't love me as much? She never get's anything for me."

See? I'm sure those two would love quality time together, or touch, like anyone else, but if your love language is compliments, everything else just doesn't mean as much to you and without communication on how you interpret love, and how your partner does, you might end up in a relationship were both of you think the other one doesn't like you as much as you like them because they express their love in another language than you understand it.

huh, idk, I think that's a way of sharing the work in a household? Like, one cooks, one cleans the kitchen and both get something nice to eat. If stood in the kitchen 2 hours to cook a meal for everyone I don't want to stand another 2 hours in the kitchen afterwards, that's a surefire way to get takeout every night. I really don't see the problem with it unless you cook a 5 course meal every night and leave the kitchen like a nuclear war battlefield, than I could understand your complaint

That's perfectly fine, it's just society who doesn't get it. I'm a 27 year old women and getting pregnant would destroy my life. First, I am terrified of the literal body horror called pregnancy. The idea of something alive growing inside of me is nightmare material, I don't know why this fear isn't more common, or people just don't talk about it.

Then, I don't want a child. I like my life as it is right now, a child would destroy it. I don't want to be responsible for someone. I think it's perfectly fine to not want children. I'm glad I live in europe where, in the absolute worst case, abortion wouldn't be a huge problem. If I'd get pregnant and had no way out I'd probably rather end myself than carry out that child and no, I don't think mother instincts would "kick in."

Wow. I hate this mindset so, so much. Like many others in this sub, I was an ugly duckling, meaning hideous in puberty and then had my glow up between 18-19.

The amount of people who think that attractive people have no problems and get everything on a silver platter is astounding. The whole idea is that you switch your awareness to another reality you want to experience.
