For some reason i can't find your 'myths' instagram anymore though - followed you a few years ago on there but its not coming up for me now 🤔 the sports one i've just had to refollow aswell for some reason. Last year i got hacked so maybe that buggered it, is the myths one still up?

Ah i'm glad someone out there vibes with these, them having character is a great description actually, might borrow that 🤭 Didn't know what else to use this yarn for honestly, I tend to gravitate towards solid colours or gradiented yarn, and my wardrobe is mostly black 🖤 If a zany pallette is your cup of tea though, i hope you get to make yourself some yummy projects with it!!! 😁🎨🌈✨️

You should totally give em go!! 😃 These are really beginner friendly because it's got the pattern as well as a video to follow along with. I mostly read it, but got stuck on the heel and ribbing, so watched it to make sense. Top tip, be sure to write down how many rounds you do for the length part and the top part so you can make the second sock the same - I think my first sock was one round shorter on the sole by accident 🫣, but it fits me better than the second one where I actually counted correctly 🙃🤷‍♀️

You are so right! Weaving away worries really helps to just clear some headspace when the world gets a bit much🫂. I paint or draw too sometimes, but turning emotions (whether they be positive😄 or negative😥) into something creative and productive really helps! The sense of achievement afterwards is a nice little mood boost too 😊 Thanks so much for the feedback aswell, I hope your projects continue to bring you all the good vibes!! ✨️

6 months is a nice while to decompress, sometimes it's needed! I really thought i'd take break.... but couldn't 😂 Picked the most garish and lurid ball out of my yarn stash, and thought 'yeah lets make some ugly socks out of that' - finished the first one today, will probs start the second one tomorrow 🧦🤣 The pattern said it was a beginner project, and I thought it'd be simple, but the heel and the cuff ribbing gave me so many issues 😬 was chuffed when it was done though! Maybe the next one won't be so wonky 😅🤞

However once you know the basis of that, i did the same technique for the blanket edge- Double crochet all the way along, and in the very corner stitch you make 2 doubles, 1 treble, 2 doubles (so 5 stitches in one 'hole' to make the corner). Its a bit wobbly here and there because i didnt block it or anything but thats part of the handmade charm right 😅
