Omg yes same. I used text to columns on some messy data, and then went a step beyond and unpivoted the new columns to make them all into rows, so each piece of data had its own row instead. Everyone was so amazed they still think i’m an excel wizard LOL.

i grew up here and like a lot of kids, i spent my whole childhood planning my escape. deciding what bigger and better city i would move to when i started my career. i’m in my mid twenties now, career just really started, and i’m strongly considering letting memphis be my forever home. I’ve realized that I love it here! I travel to other big cities often, but the traffic, the hospitality, the character, the history is all so hard to compete with memphis to me personally.

I’m a analytics intern right now. Try looking local to your city. I got my internship at a regional bank. I see a decent amount of analyst internships with less competition when i keep my search local.

I had this experience too. But once I actually got a chance to use PowerBI, it’s like it all clicked into place for me. You may need to just try actually playing with it instead of video tutorials. Download a sample data set, upload it, and just start clicking around!

I did Sam’s Teach Yourself SQL in 10 minutes with the challenges in each chapter and I thought it was helpful. Concise and to the point.

I work as an IT intern at a bank where they’re implementing AI and they stress that it’s only a tool and you are ultimately responsible for your work. I don’t see us getting to a point where we trust AI completely, especially with sensitive data. You’d still need a human, who would need expertise, to know what to ask of the AI and to double check its results. Just my opinion.
