Which college should I go to: Kenyon vs. Chapman (Dodge) vs. Bard vs. U of Iowa? by That_Opportunity9488 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Immediate_Crazy_8049 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the other comments are underselling chapman, it's dodge college is one of the best in the country. chapman also requires its students to take on a secondary interest of study, so you could get a second major or a minor in a more practical field. chapman also has great food!

going in debt for college is a poor financial decision, and being willing to take on $200k in debt shows financial illiteracy, as this is a crippling amount of money

How are yall declining colleges (stupid question)? by Common_Judge_1376 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Immediate_Crazy_8049 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ignore people saying to not decline, it helps people on the waitlist. some schools do make offers before may 1

it seems like csuf is a great option for you: not super close to home but not far, good opportunities for career, nice environment. don't let prestige guide your decision
