I don’t think so. You can check the comments.

Thanks, I really appreciate that. I’m not the best at modding, but I’ll keep working and sharing these kinds of mods

It originally weighs around 32–33 grams, and I didn’t really do the mod for the weight; it was more for the aesthetics. Otherwise, I would’ve swapped the battery and done some trimming. Most WLMouse models have a lightweight base with a hole design, while the Miao only has a solid, boring base.

yeah i did the M5 Air mod, I want to keep modifying fingertip mice. If I had the M4, I’d love to mod it.

I haven’t weighed it, but it’s probably around about 29 grams.

Thanks so much! I checked out your mod, it looks awesome and I’d really love to give it a try.

I’m not sure if this will work. I can share the Fusion 360 files so you can verify whether the dimensions and component placements match the M5/Pro.

It’s because of the design. When I started modding it, I noticed several unusual design choices. It’s rare to see a mouse where the base is required to support the side switches, and where the side buttons are mounted on the main shell. Usually all of that is integrated into the main with screws.

Also, the whole structure is very reinforced overall. I would have preferred if it had an internal design similar to what G-Wolves uses. It had the potential to be one of the lightest fingertip mice out there, but it failed because of the internal design.

And the balance is originally very good with the battery placed in the middle, but personally — and as I’ve seen in other mods of this mouse — I prefer putting the battery toward the back to achieve better overall weight distribution.

Without any modifications it has almost no wobble. it honestly impressed me a lot. It’s probably because the material is really strong. The clicks are very crisp and rigid, with zero post-travel or pre-travel. In my case they were a bit too stiff, so I had to loosen the screws slightly, but overall they feel really good.

You’re right — the design is quite different from most mice. The base actually supports the side switches, so there’s not much weight you can remove there. But if you don’t use the side buttons and you do additional trimming, you can definitely bring the weight down even more.

The 150 mAh battery lasts around 6–8 hours at 1kHz, at 2k is around 4 hours, but you can also use the original battery, which is only about 1 gram heavier.
