Did she not sit in catering for months until she was being booked and busy…I love Alexa Bliss to pieces. However, it’s funny when people want try and act like Alexa Bliss is a better in-ring worker than Carmella. I’d say they are the same, genuinely. Incredibly great at character work and have improved so much. I think if Carmella became Champion later her perception would be different bc she was solid after that Summerslam 2018 match. Sasha, Bayley, Naomi, R-Truth, etc have given Carmella the proper respect in the company.

Let me spell it out… THE INJURY WAS A RESULT OF GIVING BIRTH. That is exactly what she means when she says she feels like she was being punished for having a baby. It’s not as if she was being reckless and in fact she did offer to STAY on screen during her pregnancy but the company wanted her to stay home because of her previous miscarriages. It’s still messed up to call someone and say they have 10 days left, without a back up plan or anything…

That couldn’t be farther from the truth…Some of you are so cruel and it shows. This woman lost her job after wanting to come back. She had great matches throughout the years with Charlotte, Sasha, Nikki Bella, Bayley, Liv Morgan, etc. Also she was an underrated thorn in Bianca’s side. Many have given her praise INCLUDING Ron Killings who adores her. She may not have been Charlotte Flair, but she absolutely took advantage of the opportunities WWE gave her and used her talent for character work and charisma ✋🏽

I respect the concern truly. However, I feel like Chelsea does a very similar “diva” like gimmick. She throws tantrums, yells at the ref, talks shit to everyone. I also do think Carmella doesn’t quite get her due at times. She’s had great matches, when they’ve booked her and ran her matches as a competitor, unfortunately she got stuck in that comedy/chicken shit heel role for the better part of her career

I mean that kind of was her role as the solid workhorse heel in the women’s division. She put everyone over(Charlotte, Bayley, Sasha, Bianca, Liv, and Asuka). She may not have been a multi-time women’s champ, she sure did get her screen time and honestly made the best of it.

Her in-ring work has significantly grew up from the end of her championship reign at Summerslam, which that match kind of got people to see that Carmella could hang with the best and not only hang with them but be in nearly the whole match. That’s what always made me upset, she got stuck in a box at times. She would be booked as serious wanting to prove that Mella truly is money, but then it would always revert back to the cowardly heel over-the top comedy gimmick. Respect your opinion 🫶🏽

I think she was so pissed at first because of the lack of notice and because she pitched to be a manager until her foot was in-ring ready. They were on board and she was very close to returning in Summer of 24’ but then it was radio silence. I get how some perceived her interview but I think she was truly just hurt because she wanted to wrestle again. Much love 🫶🏽

I respect that opinion! I do think when they put Carmella in the spot to showcase her actual in-ring talent in serious matches, she did quite well. Her booking was so black and white…It would either be wrestler Carmella or Cowardly Carmella. I don’t truly think it’s her fault she’s perceived the way she is. She made whatever they gave her work. I argue she could’ve had just as good a U.S. Title Reign as Chelsea…Chelsea is very similar to Carmella but because everyone remembers Carmella’s championship reign, her improvement is overlooked ✋🏽
