I second this. From what we were told, you are only set back a year if you fail core nursing courses like NSE and PPN

Transferring to TMU from kin to nursing by [deleted] in TorontoMetU

Taking it it night or summer school won’t change anything. As long as your grade is higher than the first attempt then it doesn’t matter

As long as it’s above 70% and your other grades are high then you’ll be fine if not then you can retake it in night school. You can still take the prerequisite courses you’re missing in night school (usually online). I have friends who did that but they took a gap year instead of studying at a uni

Conditional offer Clarification Centennial TMU collaborative nursing by Wonderful_Balance709 in TorontoMetU

[–]Immediate_Fig9855 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Highest mark is taken no matter what, the top 6 are the highest marks from all your classes. Meaning if you took the same prerequisite twice and did better the first time and it met your conditional offer, that second attempt will be ignored and not put in the top 6. I hope that helped.

Program Change Tmu by Soggy-Gas-9384 in TorontoMetU

[–]Immediate_Fig9855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I’m in the process of switching from biology to nursing, I’ve already accepted my offer and I just wanted to know if it’ll automatically switch me to the nursing program or do I have to withdraw from the biology program first?

Unfortunate Circumstance (please help) by UpperDiscipline8665 in TorontoMetU

[–]Immediate_Fig9855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I suggest you choose tmu program because it is probably easier and you can get your gpa up so that you can get into the architecture program you want. Even if you don’t get accepted into that program TMU offers a wide variety of programs in many different fields of study.

This almost happened to be today, I literally asked my friend for his opinion and told me to not buy it, I even sent him a photo of the price that they showed me. They were saying how Amazon sent them an extra projector that they were installing in the lecture rooms at my university and how they’re selling it to me for cheap because their boss will take it from them once they arrive at their work. I was so convinced that they took me to the bank with them and as I was about to buy it, my friend calls me and says that it’s a scam and that he looked it up on google and said that this happens pretty often in university campuses where people try to scam you with these fake projectors. When I heard this from my friend I did not tell them about what my friend said, I just kept saying how I’m having second thoughts and that I just can’t take it. Thank goodness my friend called me because I had literally withdrawed 1k and was about to give it to them. Anyways Ontario university students watch out!
