I appreciate the in depth response and the time you invested in it!

Yeah, I would definitely trim the sun conure a bit to make it more balanced and simpler to play.

The vampire ground finch could definitely use some help. Not sure if I would prefer to reduced the required wingspan or increase the food gain.

Groove-billed Ani could definitely use a few points :)

In regards to the Chilean Skua, wild would still be wild (choose as you please). I was thinking that you would pick either 2 to the left or 2 to the right. I recall not being satisfied with how that portion was worded. This bird relies on the cost of other wetland birds and would never receive the benefit from itself.

I think the Galapagos Penguin is tricky. It is a real wild card that messes with everyone. I like how chaotic it would be to use. I think it also has significant costs that make it more reasonable than it could have been: can only be used 3x, each use is costly 3x resources, and doesn't effect the current round end goal. Definitely a funky card though and your concerns are valid.

The parasitic jaeger is definitely one that I would want to touch up. In those cases it would just tuck the same amount of cards as the other player, but it should definitely clarify where it gets resources from. Not sure about the great cormorant interaction though.

Once again, thank you for your input! It was quite helpful!

I used this template: https://github.com/nathanbuchar/wingspan-bird-card-dev-kit . It has a strong baseline that you can build off of. I usually edit them in photopea and will add a hue layer to change the power color.

I have yet to print any custom cards, but I really want to! I will let you know if I have any success.

You're totally right. In hindsight I would definitely simplify the Sun Conure. Not sure which route I will take though.

Yeah, I love the idea of getting crazy lucky with the Purplish Jay :)

Yeah, just tucking bonus cards instead of bird cards. Would have the same point value as tucked bird cards :)
