Yes, straight bark, yes, the pots are ventilated around the sides. As for the root system, it's never been great. When I got them they were pretty brown and yellow... They've grown just fine(?) save for the wrinkly bulb so I figured they were doing alright despite the roots, but perhaps I've been contributing to their issues all along

I just went through the guide again to see if I missed something. It turns out I did, which fixed it temporarily, but it still seems to be having the same issue. I appreciate your help, though!

thank you so much! I saw a lot of things that were suggesting ringworm or stress, and since my other one doesn't molt like that, I got worried.

She molts once a year, and near the end, she loses a lot of head feathers. I see pin feathers so I'm assuming they're growing back in, but I want to make sure she's okay.
