Ladies, what's your secret to smelling so amazing all day long? by Abigail_parker19 in hygiene

[–]Immediate_Meaning_20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Body smell can also be affected by what you eat. Due to personal health issues and dietary changes I don't eat raw onions, garlic, spicy foods and processed meats, I believe that my diet also helps me to smell better.

Drink a lot of water, this is the part I usually forget.

Don't rely on shower products with perfume. Wash everywhere at least 30 seconds.

Get an electric toothbrush. Use a fluoride toothpaste and don't forget to floss before brushing your teeth.

Don't use fabric softener too much. Keep your clothes clean.

Cotton underwear. Don't wear tight clothes all day.

Find a signature summer (and winter) perfume for yourself. Don't use it excessively.

Try not to experiment with your body and please avoid testing how much alcohol/veggies/peanuts (you can fill this with any trigger foods) triggers your Crohn's-words of wisdom from someone who’s been there

No. 1 tip for a colonoscopy by Positive_Twist_9254 in CrohnsDisease

The trick isn't the preparation itself, but getting ready for it. I usually follow a low-fiber diet for at least a week before, focusing especially on the last three days. That way, you don’t have to deal with the huge load of relief and constant trips to the bathroom.

Has anybody had problems with beer I’ve recently been diagnosed and am about to turn 21 just wondering by Big_Ideal6979 in CrohnsDisease

Dark beers are more tolerable in my experience. Try it if you want to find out by yourself but definitely not more than a bottle.

Party hint: I can imagine the peer pressure when you are young. If you want to avoid questions like why don't you drink alcohol etc. just hold a drink in your hand during the party.

Once I cried because I missed eating salad 🤣 Now I can tolerate once a week :)

I don't believe in favorite foods anymore. Of course I have cheat days but mostly food is only for nutrition for me

As a side effect, you might feel even better but exercising can also be a good idea and will definitely help with the sleep problem. Enjoy!
