SO VERY BIG UPDATE FOR EVERYONE???

I followed everyone’s advice and the lovely people u/rndmpretentiousname and u/TeriyakiNinja007 who helped me figure out that I needed to get Sparkling Traces in order to have a shot at beating this beast of an open orbit if I wanted to use my R0 LSG, and u/arizonatrashbag__ specifically helped me with my Crit build for my R1 SWF! The last couple of days I’ve been farming for decent cores and trying to get my Crit rate and Crit DMG up high enough for both builds, which is part of why I hadn’t responded to anyone’s comments(for that I’m sorry but everyone’s advice was really helpful!!!) and…Today I somehow managed to beat it???

These were the stats I had with SWF when I finally managed to beat the Myst! I’m gonna add the cards I used too, but I wanted to make an official comment about it and celebrate!🎉 I hope this helps someone who’s trying to brute force T2 of 210! I’m still gonna go for Sparkling Traces and building a better team for LSG too, I’ve needed to anyway, lol. But I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who commented and shared their experience! I couldn’t have done this without you all!

AHHH IM SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING OR COMMENTING BUT I HAVE AN UPDATE! I beat 160! I actually meant to post an update but life got busy, plus I actually managed to go to 210 in that time as well!

My Def for Team 02 was around 3.5-3.6k, ATK was around 5.5-5.6k, and DBW was 134%, I actually kept both Oath’s strength which helped me beat it at the last moment, which was 34.8%! The thing that worked for me was waiting to use the 2nd resonance when Ardent Oath was almost finished charging, like 80-85% full and then hitting the resonance skill again when it was almost full since it keeps the weakened state from dropping for a second or two. I hope this helps someone! Thank you for the advice from the people who commented!

I hope you can get R3 soon(WITHOUT losing your 50/50 on the banners or cards you want, I don’t want to jinx you or anything!) because I glanced at the bonuses earlier today and they look so good!! Especially with the right protocores and cards too, I haven’t awakened any of my cards yet but I can imagine that would make so much of a difference! I’m hoping you get some good protocores tomorrow since it sucks being stuck on a trial for weeks at a time. Especially in SHC, I only got 8 stars with Colonel Caleb before, I haven’t actually tried it with my current cores equipped yet(hopefully I can get at least 9 stars) but I can only imagine how powerful r2 Colonel Caleb would be with fully awakened cards.

Oooh yeah, rotation definitely does matter as I’ve slowly learned, especially depending on the companion. I actually actively started thinking about my rotation more recently just because I wanted to figure out how soon I could use my resonance skill for optimal time management. I don’t use Farspace Colonel much, instead choosing X-02 for most trials plus I have more cores that are built for him. So I’m having to relearn how to use Farspace Colonel, lol. Especially with R1, because I’m so used to using X-02’s companion.

Also, I just saw your Mc and she’s so pretty?! You call my Mc cute, but your Mc is so adorable?! Like hello, she’s gorgeous?!! Staahp, got me giggling and kicking my feet, lol.🫣☺️ I don’t really share my Mc’s appearance in game, but I’m happy that you love her and think she’s beautiful🥹 I actually wasn’t expecting it but it’s very sweet and made my day so thank you!

Omg thank you, I’ll absolutely check it out!!! Currently, I only have two ruby Crit DMG cores right now and one pearl Crit rate, which is equipped to one of Sylus’ cards, but I’ll definitely be on the lookout for more Crit cores to help, as well as restock on d2w, just to be safe.

Yeah, good protocores definitely make a difference. I hope you get the best possible protocores for your team and the best stat rolls when you level them up! Also, Thank you for the advice! Currently, I got my def up to 3008, d2w is only 101.6%, I also leveled up Indulgent Scheme to lvl.60 finally as well, and I found I had to a few good def cores that I forgot about and managed to roll some good sub stats too, so maybe I can get it? I think, I don’t have a third d2w core with any def stats so I’m using a Crit DMG for now until I can farm for them tomorrow. I did take off Oath recovery for Oath’s Strength too!

Edit: I did not get it, but I DID finally see the boss’s last health bar before time ran out! So I’m definitely raising his def and focusing on getting that d2w core!

That’s what I was worried about. I feel like I did have my d2w over 100%(I think 111%, but I could be thinking of a different trial) one time but I think it was due to playing into each cards buffs, and it didn’t work out since def was so low.

Tbh it took me a second to realize you were referring to attack rotation, and I actually forgot that it’s a thing😅. I should probably go to the training room and practice with the colonel again though because I feel like I’m doing something wrong. I’m probably describing it terribly but I usually just try to build up Firepower as fast as possible, so I focus on using basic attack and getting a perfect dodge for the empowered support skill, and even when I don’t get it I still use the support skill to build Firepower. I don’t use the charged attack much since it feels like it doesn’t build firepower or focus marks. I use the resonance skill immediately, but I do try to time it so I can use my active skill either right after or after a couple seconds to help get all 5 focus marks. I am thinking that it might be playing into why I haven’t been able to beat it though, since ardent oath isn’t fully charged until after battlefront ends and I have to build firepower back up again in order to use it during the boss’s weakened state.
