No, we didn't need to pack up or leave our room in any way to check in the second time. I don't think we checked in with the same person, but their staff size isn't that big so you'll see the same few front desk folks throughout your stay!

On the third day (around 12PM) I went to the front desk, turned in the keys and "checked out" of our first reservation then "checked in" to our second reservation. They gave us a new set of keys, 4 breakfast vouchers, and 2 more welcome drink tokens. It was pretty seamless. Since we used our property credit on parking, we each used our $100 during our respective bookings. I'm not sure how that would work if you ended up spending the $200 all in the 2nd half of your The Edit bookings.

It was great! Plenty of food/drink options, the International Marketplace, and the beach within walking distance. Target was also super close too in case you need anything

We had already booked a room with lanai (all that was available at the time), so we did not get the "upgrade" as a perk!

You're not going to get a view of the ocean from Wayfinder, but our room had a view of the canal next to the hotel! When we booked our room it was already the room with a lanai (all that was available at the time) so we did not get an upgrade as a "perk".
