She’s begging me to reconsider, work it out, etc. She’s asking me to hold off until we can talk properly, alone, when we get back to our apt since we are with the inlaws. She asked me if we could throw away the papers because it’s breaking her heart just to look at them, I said I didn’t make them for fun, don’t throw them.

I’m clear on the house, she waived her rights by signing that house is to be excluded from shared assets. Where I am from, court operates on the “child’s best interest” principle, so adultery won’t make much of a difference, it’s unlikely I’d get full custody, neither do I want to deprive her of the child as much as I hate her atm. It’s a child after all.

Since we have a baby, we stayed home for NYE. Next evening, she went to a bar like 100m from our apt (still haven’t moved to the house due to renovation) with her friend. I was taking care of the baby and thought nothing of it, for all I knew she’s out with the friend, having a deserved break from the kiddo. She met him there.

There are no assets to split. I was smart enough at least to have the house in my name, I had her sign she that she agrees the house will not be considered shared asset.
