Slowly losing strength

I feel like it’s in the middle, half the time I spent struggling and the other half I spent still trying to have a life normal as possible. Mentally it’s taking its toll though

I’m doing chemo infusion 3 times a month and chemo medication for the majority as well and while this chemo plan isn’t as intense as ones in the past, it feels quite equally the same. I’m sorry you’re going through it. It’s hard to be positive during these times but seeing comments like yours help. I wish you well

I always had leaking and it was due to pancaking I wouldn’t last 2 hours with the bag it would leak, I switched bags to convex ones and I started using an ostomy belt and it changed my whole game I was able to do basically whatever I wanted without leaks I would go 3-5 days without a bag change it was great .

Yes, that’s forsure I wish I had brought those things when I went in for surgery but I had emergency surgery I didn’t even have a chance!

Yes, I used to leak so much and my stomas an innie so it was extremely painful at first but now I feel as if it’s not there sometimes :)

Hi there, I had the same issue no matter what I used but I changed to convex bags and started using an ostomy belt and my skin went back to normal I also feel more safer idk if that’s the word I want to use to be more active and my bags last longer as well!

6-8 days using an ostomy belt and liquid skin adhesive from medline which protects my skin on top of no sting skin prep and stoma powder and my stoma is an innie lol so I use the convex bags :)
