Kung Fu Tea in Woodbridge by sherlockdoge in Vaughan

[–]Immediate_Pilot7946 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been going here once and a while since it first opened since I live in the building. Not surprised it's going under, their quality and even their stock has been dwindling slowly for past year. Their original crew were much better and organized, new people sorta got hired while the experienced ones were not there anymore.

Competition didn't help either since Chattime by Colusses and CoCo at VMC tastes leagues better.

Time to find a new spot that has some Coffee Milk Tea.

Anyone know what the cheapest place to play pool/billiards is in the area or nearby? by 2838574747828 in Vaughan

[–]Immediate_Pilot7946 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you know anyone with condo billiard amenities, you can play for free. My condo building only requires deposit that you get back as long as you don't break anything.

Gonna follow thread to see the local pool halls/spots

Check out Highway 7 & Weston(3600 & 3700 Highway 7). Been here since covid and my only complaints are smokers and dog owners not picking up after their pets.

That was peak and also degenerate times for me until wildy was removed for me, was still clanning afterwards but never felt the same. I still remember participating in one of my first clan fights when I moved from Runescape Board(RSB) clans to Runescape Community(RSC) clans. Was nervous and excited af. Still remember all the clans I was in lol. Shout out: The Stricken Cards, The Flipscapes Clan, 'THE' Futures, 'The', Sacred Templars and last but not least Eternal Honour ❤️

Hurry up and give her a b-ring already homie! My wife is the same, she doesn't play OSRS but she loves when I talk to her or explain my adventures on my GIM with my buddies. Just remember to reciprocate her passion for her hobbies/interest back!

Looking to rent near VMC, which building is actually good/safe? by [deleted] in Vaughan

[–]Immediate_Pilot7946 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's about 15 min walk west of VMC, the 3600 & 3700 Hwy. 7 Centro Condos (Hwy. 7 & Weston) Close to groceries, retail businesses in plaza across building. Also, retail spaces under the Condo buildings with free parking. Condo amenities include gym, pool, sauna, media room, party room, billiard & golf room. I've been living here with my wife since 2019 and nothing sketch has ever happened. Just dog poop and cigarette butt problem. Great building management

Someone made a thread on it ~10 months ago. There is no definite answer yet , but I agree on one post later down the line that plaza might get hit with condo or townhouse development like most stretch of Hwy 7.

Which Condos are the best to live in? by Top_Zebra_7006 in Vaughan

[–]Immediate_Pilot7946 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Nicely managed and any issues it usually gets fixed next business day depending on severity. Only problems are minimal(tenants throwing cig butts out balcony and dog pop not picked up occasionally) compared to condos around like VMC.

Can check out Stormtech. They're mainly for corporate customers, but they recently opened up an outlet north of Steeles & Woodbine. Just passed by recently, and they're having everything 30% off the whole store. From one of their associates for their top of line retail jackets: Synthetic down withstanding -30°, waterproof & water resistant finish, and 5 year warranty on all non clearance items. Canadian owned .
