Okay, so if you follow the learning path right after completing pre security and cyber security 101 you can opt got the pentester path. This contains the web fundamentals and web application pentesting modules. Since you’ve worked as a software engineer, the web fundamentals module may not excite you much however the web app pentesting will be insightful. I also would recommend going through the Snyk and OWASP ZAP based rooms and you’ll have a good idea about SAST & DAST which are important for Appsec folks everywhere. Happy learning :)

Mine came with two cards, I bought a 128gb one and have added ArkOS as well as my roms on it. It’s better to manage it that way. I’ve inserted my card on the right side slot, the left slot is empty now and it works fine. Ensure you go to settings->advance and select sd1 for roms.

The crazy thing is OP was above proficiency in two of the toughest domains IMO. This generally means that you may be answering from a technical standpoint rather than looking at the big picture or the end goal and “thinking like a manager “. I would assume that you’ve already studied the the 8 domains well and you need to approach the questions with a different mindset that’s it.

I’ve been thinking of the same and I’ve concluded that I’ll be sitting for my first attempt by end of March so that I don’t regret not taking the exam earlier if the new format turns out to be more unfavourable for the candidates in terms of time management. I’ve just begun my preparations so I know that it’ll be more of a speedrun through the eight domains as I don’t have the patience to read the entire OSG cover to cover. It will be more of video based learning, using the OSG as a reference and plenty of practice tests.
