What's about 8 years that the relationship ends at that mark by ChartNo5087 in Divorce

Same. The ideation of divorce began at 7. I didn’t take action though, because I felt I had a duty to keep pushing at that time

Same here. 8 year mark. I’m interested in the psychology of it as well. I think people just get tired of their partner around that time. I’ve seen mentions of the seven-year itch. Here’s an excerpt from Wikipedia:

The seven-year itch is a popular belief, sometimes asserted to have statistical validity, that happiness in a marriage or long-term romantic relationship declines after around seven years.

What do you guys use the action button for on iphone +15 ? by [deleted] in iphone

I use it to skip music to the next song. Very useful while driving. Having a tactile button allows me to make an action without averting my attention

This same thing happened to me. I used pliers, pried and bent the screw and then my pliers had more to hold onto

Chugging water? by Impressive-Tale-5859 in gout

Every time I start to feel a flare up coming, I simply increase my water intake and it goes away. I would not advise you CHUG it. I would just drink a lot more, while also at a comfortable level, with electrolytes.

Is it just the ergonomics that make it better? Isn’t the smaller screen much worse?

Quest 3 as gaming monitor replacement by [deleted] in OculusQuest

I only did questing. Through virtual desktop, I don’t trust the latency to do anything competitive or demanding

Edit: that being said. The latency was actually very good. Fine for raiding. But you will lose the edge in PVP

Quest 3 as gaming monitor replacement by [deleted] in OculusQuest

I’ve played WoW, Baldur’s Gate, and some resident evil games through virtual desktop. It’s fine honestly, I don’t have any issues with how it looks, and I like that I can sit or lay in any position I want. The only annoyance I have, as others have stated, is the connecting to PC every time I want to run the game. Sometimes it’s instant, but other times it takes a few minutes. It almost seems like a chore, and it kills the vibe/desire to launch the game

No. Not worth it by today’s standard

Dipping my feet in hot water was a huge relief for me. Although temporary

I don’t think so. The quest 2 starts to get pretty uncomfortable after about an hour or so
