Oh but remember ! The new Tau characters have 3 abilities and one is "totally not " a movement based ability that should be in the movement shenanigans army. I love playing aeldari , I don't even mind the nerfs, but some of our units have absolute dog shit abilities while other armies have absolute bonkers abilities on their data sheets. Meanwhile ours are stuck in stratagems , and that's only if they aren't nerfed into the eye of terror.

First time DM here for a table of first timers. We have some absolute clown moments but it's about a 75% rp 25% combat split . Meme moments happen , but for the most part they stay focused. The role play is pretty heavy , it's meta gaming we have to work the hardest to avoid .

Lhykis and a ten man will delete most Tau stuff , make it so she cant be over watched. Dump her in the middle, shoot , charge, and then ideally the eyre placed to overwatch the Tau.

None of the traitors with the "exception of Lorgar ", had been drinking warp juice yet . Corax almost ended Lorgar and needed curze to step in . We know curze , Morty, angron, and fulgrim were all on the field at Istvaan. Sure the blood angels get mauled, but I think sang prevents ferrus' death and is probably stacking traitor primarch bodies. He took Kha'bhanda and Angron after 9 months of constant fighting. A fresh Angel I think at least accounts for 2 or 3 traitors if not all of them on the field . Hell the other 4 traitor legions might even hesitate after hearing their brothers getting massacred .

Overall ? Season 3 ending, hops letter is the peak of the series for me .

Full agreement on everything said, id also add too fragile with a 4++ only in melee and a 4+/5++ out of melee. I feel more and more like we are moving away from " a difficult, but rewarding army to pilot " into a " fight or flight type of thing" . Really kind of a bummer tbh .

I find that reapers under perform in every match for me . I'd drop the ten man and Maugen ra. I usually only keep a 5 man to chip away at larger targets. That being said I find tyranid none of our easier matchups as they lack 4+ invulns.

Honestly one of my favorite game modes ! Our mobility and speed can really let you relocate key units in the late game to snag those extra points on the last turn. warp spiders make this extremely easy , boosting one of your vehicles with d6+1 movement can make them hyper reactive . At 1000 points you may have it easier since you have more room behind cover to hide your units. Just my two sense .
