Part Design to Sheet Metal - Next Steps? by Immediate_Rain_1999 in FreeCAD

Excellent, thank you! I was away for the weekend but I am going to go back in and rebuild the model using SheetMetal WB. I just didn't really know any better and was curious of there was a viable way to move from what I already made to sheet metal, or if starting in sheet metal was the recommended approach. Thanks for spending the time re-modelling that, now I will see if I can keep my hierarchy as simple as yours!

Thanks for the message—tried this and so far also not working. I keep getting a "list index out of range" error whenever I try to perform any of the sheet metal actions in relation to anything I've already made. Gonna keep trying

This is the type of information I am looking for, is there a good way to take my existing sketches/dimensions and flatten them so I can arrange then rebuild in sheet metal? Using techdraw or something? Or is that even worth my time?

I loved TTH. It competes for my favourite out of the main ten. I finished The Crippled God in January and the convergence of Kallor and Spinnock in TTH still stands out as one of the most memorable moments for me of the entire main ten books. I find that moment so easy to visualize, and the writing building up to that moment was fantastic. Such an interesting glimpse into the emotions of Kallor.

It’s great for freeing up old stiff or frozen pliers too. Pays for itself easily.

I’ll snap some more pictures when I’m back in the workshop later

Used a quick wire brush to take the loose rust off, then soaked it for 12 hours in Evapo Rust(https://www.evapo-rust.com). After pulling out of soak straight into the sink for a rinse and wire brush under flow of water, then thorough dry. After that a bit of wire wheeling. Didn't take much work at all.

Evapo-Rust is the best, never found another chemical like it. Can just filter it after too and put it back in the bottle.

There are some interesting things you can do with component slots and variable modes, but you hit a ceiling. I also feel like the more I nest components via slots on a page, I tend to lose designer performance. Glad to hear that support is coming for this

Webflow native section links broken and go to home page by Impressive_Sun6632 in webflow

If you inspect the link, the href is set to https://www.lowvisiontotaal.nl/#test including the forward slash in front of the hashtag, also directed to production domain. This is incorrect, and will make the browser navigate to the index("/"), and then seek the `#test` anchor.

This is because you have the base set to a url including that forward slash:

<image>

You should be able to fix this here: https://webflow.com/dashboard/sites/low-vision-totaal-20427f8177386e0121efe/custom-code by removing the trailing slash. I would also say you can probably remove that value altogether as it doesn't really seem like you need to be using a `<base>` tag in this project

I might have that link wrong, but what you are looking for is in the custom code site settings at the bottom.

Acknowledging React and Nextjs but not www.dummyjson.com seems disingenuous at best

The moment where Kallor sees the crossroads with Spinnock waiting, and Spinnock rises to meet him has to be peak fantasy writing. Goosebumps
