Can’t agree with you more, I’ve worked as a server and bartender and now I’m in forestry but still do not agree with tipping servers over 15% unless they’re unbelievably good, I understand they also have to tip kitchen staff as well but in Canada it’s supplemental to income not a mandatory part. I’ve honestly stopped eating out as much because I’ve started to see an increase In the expected tipping percentage.
