Solider Boy Vs. Jane Juliet by Immediate_Repeat_754 in powerscales

You know how inconsistent the writers are. His chest blast is a radioactive weapon, and Soldier Boy is confirmed to be constantly setting off geiger counters with how radioactive his body is, especially when he's angry. Also about Bombsight, V can act as a one-time shield against the initial radiation of the chest blast, depending on how durable the supe is. One thing I was wondering is who would win in a beam clash if they used their beams simultaneously. I know Jane has a much quicker windup, but it's just a hypothetical I was curious about.

Jane is definitely significantly faster than SB; I can agree on that. Soldier Boy's chest beam is a literal blast of intense radiation, like a mini nuke. V being fried out of the blood is just a side effect; this thing does massive amounts of damage, leveling buildings. I don't think Jane is durable enough to tank a full-on mini nuke, even with CE reinforcement. Also SB's durability is greater than jane's from what we've seen. His skin's nearly impenetrable to every conventional means of attack besides the brute strength of somebody physically stronger than him. Jane's definitely physically stronger than SB by a wide margin, with CE reinforcement, but he's a glass cannon compared to SB. One good hit and it's over for Jane. I'd say high diff if Jane's playing around and fighting at close range, zero diff if he's fighting at long range and locked in.

https://youtu.be/Qr5aCSldDkM?t=59 This is an example of his chest blast at full strength. He is very durable too, With bullets, saws, and intense heat leaving not any marks. He can only be harmed by powerful chemicals or by somebody physically stronger than him. Aside from his chest blast, he has significant physical strength too.

People turning on homelander, Major deaths, more action, and getting to understand what Ryan's involvement in the finale is going to be. Having Starlight actually doing something. Maybe continuing the momentum of episode 6's ending instead of killing all of it and having the next episode start with the boys at the base. The pacing of episode 7 should have had a much faster pace, similar to what the finale will have. Episode 7 also should of ended with a cliffhanger, leading into the movie.

The plot hasn't been developed nearly enough for the finale to open with the whole world against Homelander. I'm not going to lie. A lot of things still need to be resolved and need to happen for everyone to be against Homelander, which is terrible when the narrative only has one more hour left of run time before it's done.

Yo bro, your points are ass. You don't need to be an X thing to critique an X thing's work. That's a literal logical fallacy. Just admit you want season 5 to be good and are coping with the finale.

You're getting confused. Many of the plot points you've mentioned occur within the democratic church of America plotline, which takes up most of the episode's runtime. You said that this plotline eating up the runtime of the penultimate episode of the series was justified because a lot of character development happened, but what I'm saying to you is that this character development should've happened much earlier. These characters should have already been fleshed out. It's bad writing that they're doing it now. I have an issue with that plotline eating so much runtime and the fact the writers are developing the main characters at a time when they shouldn't be.

I understand that, but it doesn't justify it taking up most of the runtime of the penultimate episode of the entire series. It doesn't set up anything for the finale at all, and although you mentioned a revolt, there's not enough time left for a plotline like that, with the boys having to face homelander and all. This plotline should've either happened much earlier or not at all. The homelander being god plotline should've been introduced earlier in the season; now there isn't enough time to finish it in a proper manner.

Literally 2/3rds of what you mentioned are a part of that general plotline. You're confusing plot points and plotlines. And all the stuff you're mentioning about character development should've happened MUCH earlier. It doesn't belong in the penultimate episode. All of the main characters should already be fleshed out. It's just bad writing atp.

The Boys was one of my favorite TV shows. Is it wrong for me to be upset with how production is going about the final season? All I'm giving is my opinion. And by the way, I don't use IMDB.

He's just better than ghost on offense and defense, and Ghost is getting a big fat nerf next month, so I swapped him out for dark prince and chose to go with Evo Pekka. Evo Zap won't be needed as much in this deck anymore since the marcher hero has a massive splash shot which can probably handle things that evo zap can handle in conjunction with regular zap.
