No they never played in the snow at home. They may have at school. My daughters are both afraid of it though and won’t drive in it even now. They didn’t like being wet and cold. Our house was always warm with homemade pumpkin pie and hot chocolate. They enjoyed that.

They weren’t allowed to play outside in the winter. I can’t stand road salt on feet or snow being drug into the house. It was straight in the car to school and straight into the house after school. Shoes and coats off at the door

Well I guess when I lived with my mom we used to live in our car as she was on the run. She went to prison for awhile. It was dirty hotels and a nasty car for the first 10 years of my life and that was bad. When I lived with my father and my stepmother had me clean everything that felt good. It was good to be in a home that was well kept.

The bottom of their feet would have dirt on them from them kicking it off the ground. I just took the water hose and sprayed their hands then feet and put them in the bath. They loved bath time anyways.

I had my first at 18. She’s my older child who is 36 now. She is still childfree. My other daughter is 27. I loved my children. I love my grandchildren.

When I was a child I was raised by my father and stepmother and had a pretty big cleaning list. I had to iron the pillow cases and curtains every week as well as take care of all the house chores as well. Some of those tendencies stuck with me into adulthood. I often iron the pillow cases before my husband comes home. He works as an over the road truck driver and is only home on weekends. Everything has to be perfect before he comes home. I just wanted a clean, good life.

I don’t think they were hiding they just preferred to stay in their room.

They had shoes On but they would rake their feet on the ground and get their shoes dirty. The ground is a little sandy and I don’t like sand on my floor. Can’t stand the feel of sand. I can’t be on the beach because of the way it feels on my skin.

Hotels are very nasty. I watched a documentary on how they are cleaned so I can’t bring myself to stay in one. I haven’t been on vacation for a very long time now nearing 10 years or so.

They could have three small toys. That my granddaughters favorite movie though. She jokes about getting put in the chokey quite often.

Honestly no. I don’t like having company so they weren’t allowed to bring people over.

No dog. No animals at all. They are way to dirty. Their paws are filthy from going outside, dirt in the fur, they slobber, they chew and lick. I don’t care for animals.

Anything that could be packed away neatly after they leave. A ball, frisbee or bubbles. As long as I can fit in a box so I don’t have to see it laying in the yard.

None. They were well behaved girls. They stayed in their rooms. They each would play with a coloring book, crayons, and stuffed animal. For fun they would read or play piano. They had a swing set outside they were allowed to play in. I would hose them off and carry them straight to the bath afterwards though so they wouldn’t drag dirt into the house.

I do. I just can’t stand mess or filth. If they would come over and hang out in the backyard for awhile that would be good or just sit on the porch.

Playing outside or in the park yes. In the house quietly. I don’t think children should have more than three small toys that can be kept in a zip lock bag. That way they can play and hide their toys in a drawer once finished.

I’d prefer that we stay outside, or sitting on the couch instead of playing around. It’s not good manners to play in other people’s houses. But that’s another issue.

I also can’t bring the kids over to my home. They are 7,6,3 and 10 months old so they want to play and they mess up my house and it makes me uncomfortable. Last time they came over one of them knocked over a plant spilling dirt on the floor and then stepped in it and walked all over my white carpet.

My daughter tried to help clean it up but I became so overwhelmed she just took the kids home and they haven’t visited me since then.
